It is because Bobby is a racist. That’s why he keeps the “right handed” outfielder on the roster, instead of bringing up the AAAA Brandon Jones. (if he is that good)

Diaz, McLouth, Heyward makes perfect sense. When Schafer is ready (by mid-May he should have plenty of ABs), then McLouth to left and Diaz becomes a regular sub for all three. Unless he hits .320 again
This years OPS against RHP is .768. Fairly respectable.
Yeah, it’s ok but not great. I still think it’s a very big risk to take, counting on him to start hitting RHP in lieu of acquiring a big bat for LF. We’ll see what happens.
Oh theres a comment from DOB, my bad. don’t …what was that anders called it? Don’t cut me with your keyboard. I mean, it probably wouldn’t hurt but I dont want to have to interrupt my game watching to fill out a police report.
I responded to your post, but because I used a few choice words, the blog stopped it.
Suffice it to say, that you ticked me off when you alluded to me being a racist. If you say you didn’t, then you are a liar. I was the only one talking about Escobar. Go back and read your post.
Escobar attitude: acting like you are the only hitter ever to get plunked when you get hit by a pitch. Going into the training room instead of answering a few questions about how he could’nt run out a groundout with runners on. Using his “lack of English” skills as a crutch to avoid tough questions. Do I need to go on???
Once again, the stubborness/senility/cluelessless of our Hall of Fame manager is evident for all to see.
The Braves are leading 6-0. The Phillies’ lefties are all due up in the inning. Why is Soriano in the game? This would have been a nice opportunity to let Logan pitch, but Cox evidently feels no lead is too large to feel safe using him.
But it’s the 9th inning and Cox has to use his closer at the start of the inning, even with the same LH hitters coming up who have had success against him previously.
He helped cost his team last night’s game with unnecessary use of O’Flaherty in 2 of the 3 previous games. He’s trying hard to cost the team another W.
If the Braves finish a few games behind the Rockies, it won’t be too hard to point to more games than that which were lost in large part thanks to Cox’s frequent mismanagement of the bullpen.
Since Vazquez is a pretty good hitter I think that instead of taking him out after 7 or 8 they should put him in left field and then whe Gonzo or Sori blow up they can bring him back in to finish the game.
