DOB – Thats because a lot of polite rednecks come from all over the south to watch the Braves and they dont dare boo Bobby. It aint right to boo Bobby! I like to watch em get thrown out of games and toss his hat. Its just like wrestlin’!! (in redneck voice)

Speaking of Bobby. The Braves ticket office called my house and said they noticed I didnt buy season tickets this year. I told him I was waiting for….. and before I could say it, the guy says Bobby to get fired. I laughed and told him yep. So that must not be the first time he had heard this from season ticket buyers. (evil grin on my face)

Not mindless at all.

Well, that’s great to hear, LOL! We, unfortunately, get seminars of the more mindless type. My personal favorite was the “remember to always find time to stay healthy and eat” semiar they scheduled on our lunch hour…

Or the hour-long seminar on “how to contact campus security,” except that none of us get reception on our phones inside of the building…

Actually, I got hit in the head by a baseball. I hit the ground hard, and got up a bit disoriented, but ran over to first to take my base. Coach had to take me out though, as I broke my glasses and was bleeding a bit. Couldn’t see second base.

Most of you guys who pick on Yunel I bet deep down are racist. Not KKK type racist but look at others who aren’t “white” a different way. There is no other reason why you guys would keep ripping into him the way you do.

I like that he has spunk. I like that he is unpredictable. Sure he messed up not running out that play yesterday but how many things has he done positive for this team? That’s what I thought.

Go pick on your boy Chipper who sucks but not a lot of blogging about him being soft and sitting out anytime he has a hang nail.

Actually, as I have stated multiple times in the past few years, I love Escobar’s game. Was thrilled when he stole second (twice) while the pitcher was not paying attention. I just believe that when a player has an attitude, sometimes it is best to send them packing. How many years now has it been, since Escobar has been up here.

Now were you hinting that if a person thought Escobar should be dealt, there must be some other reason they didn’t like him, besides the fact that he is immature?? I hope that was not what you were saying, because there is not a frickin racist bone in my body. Actually, I get so damned frustrated when folks start to allude to others being racists if they don’t agree with their point of view.

If I were a racist, I would want them to trade Vazquez, Kawakami, Prado, Infante, Jurrjens, Soriano, Gonzalez, Loaf AND Diaz.

I just hope that was not what you were alluding to…..

You gotta love sports and sports fans! Where else can someone who leads an organization keep a job based on their performance from 5-10-15 years ago?

Take 1995 when the Braves won the World Series. What did GM look like? Seems to me they were the largest, most successful auto manufacturer in the world! Since that time, GM has gone down hill, they struggled to lead the world in anything and are only a shadow of their once powerful self! The management team of the 90’s is long gone. Consumers expected more from GM and didn’t get it so they abandoned the company for a better product! The CEO and managers of unsuccessful companies might be unfairly compensated for their time, but they don’t keep their jobs for long if they don’t produce.

Must be great to be Bobby Cox.
