It Stinks David…(Athens, AL). I just called and they said to give them a full 30 minutes to resume to normal broadcasting. Cant they just flip a switch or something?
This football game has got a ways to go. Man, guess that’s all we need to know what the south thinks of baseball, or maybe it’s just the Braves they don’t know exists.
If they still had Name That Tune I swear I could win it. I can usually identify a song even if I just hear one or two notes when switching stations on the radio but that guy stumps me routinely.
I’m pretty sure that was Aqualung but it took me about two minutes to figure it out. He’s good, I like it. Who cares… whatever.
By the way, what an awful article be Ken Rosenthal. He mistakenly refered to Brian McCann as “Martin”. Unbelievable…
… homerun, Adam LaRoche… I could see that coming from a mile away… wow, apparently I’m some kind of savant by my own account.
Finally though, somebody outside of the Braves blogosphere (I hate that word) telling it like it is. Sadly, nothing will be done about it because nobody can seem to hold the guy accountable.
This from Elias, Adam LaRoche is leading the Braves in homers since he began his second stint here on Aug. 1. That’d be 11 now…He just broke an RBI tie in that span with McCann. LaRoche now leads with 28
Right, Joe. Tommy’s had some starts where he gave up a ton of runs? Ergg!! He’s so…so…blech. My feelings wouldn’t be hurt if Joe wasn’t back next year.

wow , GA is trying out for off season offers, he should have done that a few more times this season and we might have a couple more wins, hmm what would a few more wins look like now.
* Mike Scioscia has the Angles ready for the playoffs again after the death of Nick Adenhart.
Imagine how Bobby would milk this as an excuse if one of our guys passed away during the season.
* The Dodgers are most likely going to be back in the playoffs with Torre running the show. This is a team that lost Manny for 50 games! If Chipper misses a few games then all the Bobby supporters say “well he hasn’t had all his weapons this year to work with” (is Larry even a weapon anymore?).
* We make a trade for a hot hitting Laroche and he never makes it out of the number seven spot in our lineup. Why? He has been the only real threat to hit a home run but Bobby continues to bat Mac in the cleanup spot. The Cardinals trade for Holiday and he is inserted into the number five spot because that was his purpose in the lineup. Bobby never had a purpose for LaRoche. He just bats players in the lineup by position played, not how well or bad they are hitting. Kotchmon deserved to hit in the seven spot but even when Roach was red hot Bobby would not bump him up.
This is without even mentioning the worn out calls to our bullpen, refusal to sit Johnson and French boy earlier in the season, not firing TP when its obvious he is not working out with Braves hitters, and Bobby keeping a player like Norton on the bench over real talent that would’ve helped this team win.
I think those of us on CSS were experiencing a disturbance in the time-space continuim. Hopefully we are now in an alternate universe where the Braves are in 1st place.
Why, so two weeks into the season you can change your name to “no more Yost?” Oh, and the comment about Adenhart was unbelievable, you braying jackass.
