Seriously, varoadrunner, I do agree with you. He doesn’t look too comfortable. I think he would if he got regular AB’s again

That’s because Corky told him to be ready for the K-Y ball from Burton.

I wonder what Wren thinks about keeping Cox as manager. You know Bobby was pissed when Wren let Smoltz go to Boston, and then releasing his love child Glavine.

But from Wren’s point of view, he gets a above average backup catcher so McCann can get more rest, but Bobby keeps abusing McCann by playing him almost everyday.

Chop Chop,

What if he doesn’t? That’s the whole point. They benched KK (or sent him to the pen, whatever you’d like to use in that case) to see what they’ve got in Hudson to make a decision on 2010 starting rotation, (who is in or out). It also depends on “how he looks” while getting shelled if he does indeed get rocked. One can’t just look at a scoreline and determine keep or turn him loose.

Spuds MacKenzie

Right conclusion, wrong way of getting there. .350 OBP from leadoff spots is good, but he has a lot of power and would probably be better in the middle of the order.

Batting average and throwing arm strength (WTF?) are irrelevant to his batting leadoff ability.

Bobby Cox the wonder manager does it again. Somehow we don’t get the runner from first over with 0 outs. McLouth doesn’t get him over, and then for some reason, we don’t move the runner over with Prado, and instead we hit away and get the double play. Boggles the mind.

If you are going to take Hudson out, which we shouldn’t have, then you have to atleast play to score the run. Which, of course, we didn’t

Actually, I can’t blame Duke much for trying to throw first – despite the FCS scholarship limits, our linemen were bigger and more experienced than Duke’s. Nine starters returned to a Richmond defense that finished sixth among FCS teams in scoring defense (15.6 ppg). We only lost two ends – one of whom, Sidbury, is now getting high marks for the Falcons – and we had experienced seniors ready to step into those two slots.

UVA losing at home to W&M, on the other hand – now that’s humiliating!
