Steve, why so nervous? If the Braves could hit, you wouldn’t have to be. Now they’ll squander an excellent outing by JJ and break yer heart. If the Braves could hit, I’D be nervous.
Ouch. Between Chipper’s throw to the runner’s side of LaRoche Prado (where he couldn’t risk injury by sticking his arm out there) and Garret’s drop … that’s a tough way to lose, if that happens.
Good night, all. I’m going to bed ’cause I can’t watch us bleed out. Hope our boys can get out of this one and put a smile on my face tomorrow morning.
Well, I wanted to watch “Mad Men” anyway. As for Garret, I hate to say I told you so…that his fielding would cost the Braves some games in the stretch…but I told you so. Rosie O’Donnell could have gotten to that ball and she would have held on to it. And to no one’s surprise, Joe Morgan is convinced no other outfielder in the world could have gotten that ball.
Chipper is a liabilty most games of late.He just seems to be sleep-walking.Anyway, that error may be the end of any realistic chances of winning the division.

Chipper can have his money for the next 3 years just please leave this team, you are killing the team. JJ is to blame as well, I mean you can’t give up 2 doubles to the worst player on their team, the fat little guat catcher. Playoffs? Seriously folks, stop talking about the playoffs, this team WILL NOT make the playoffs.
Well Hanson lost because he pitched 2 innings, gave up a homer, and the offense couldn’t at least tie the game. Makes sense that JJ would lose because of shady defense and not much offense either (i’m seeing a trend here)
Sucks for JJ but you can’t walk people in this park so one run is on him. But like I said never really going going to win when you score one run in this place. This isn’t a place known for its pitching duels. Braves have got to score some runs. Chipper’s struggling and that just a fact right now. Need someone else to step up.

Francoeur as a Met: .307/.332/.500 in 183 plate appearances.
McLouth as a Brave: .260/.344/.419 in 259 plate apperances.
They really have nothing to do with eachother. Just thought it was interesting……

Ballgame. We lack strong defense, consistent power and pinch hitting capabilities. The Phillies can make great plays and get clutch hits.
It’s amazing that we are still in the race.
Chipper needs to either be moved to 1st or Left Field next year. Frank Wren needs to get someone who can make strong plays at first.
Also, Garret simply cannot make plays playing left. Neither Diaz nor Garret are capable of making plays in the outfield.
