Not sure what they’re saying on TV/radio but it looked like Vazquez stumbled coming around third, maybe because he didn’t touch the bag and that’s why he went back to the bag on Diaz’s hit even though Snitker was pointing home. Didn’t matter anyway because Prado came up with the sac fly.

Reminds me of a funny story about Casey Stengel managing the “horrible” Mets back in the 60’s…before the Amazin’ Mets…Those Mets were famous for being well…pitiful. Anywho…Marvelous Marv Throneberry.. SOMEHOW… hits a triple but is called out for missing 2B.
Casey charges the 2B ump and starts screamin’ there’s NO way he missed 2B !!…The 1B ump comes up to separate the 2…then looks at Stengel and quietly sez….”Casey…he missed 1B too “…Casey just bowed his head and headed back to the dugout…
