Actually, I have lost a lot of respect for DOB. He says one thing, and then doesn’t follow up. He is counting on the fact that most on here want Braves talk so much, they will put up with about anything.
What I don’t think he realizes is that Paul offends about 3/4 of the posters here to the core. Lots of folks leave when they realize Paul is on.
To be honest with you, I left for a while, then decided to come back and push the envelope, just to see what would happen. I decided to talk about politics just to see how far I would be allowed to go. I hope my friends understand, and I have a lot of left leaning friends, that I hope will forgive some of my comments.
Pretty darn good chance that I leave in a few days anyway. I have a business venture that I am getting very involved in that will take up most of my blogging time anyway, but the AJC and DOB’s lack of giving a shyt about whatever Paul says, makes leaving easy.
After I do go, I will probably come back once in a blue moon, to converse with my friends, but I will encourage my friends to stand up for decency, and demand that the lowlife Paul be banned permanently.
He is one godless man. It will tick him off to hear it, but I pray for him. Take that Paul! I pray he will never get a disease like Diabetes. I pray that he will never lose the freedoms that our military affords him, which he so openly disdains.
OK Wayne, get down off your soap box. The problem with a guy like Paul is that he causes me to get worked up for what, a low life ingrate!
Another good reason to eventually say goodbye.

Tiger: from the sound of Bowman’s interview with Hudson, Hudson will spell KK, then spell Hanson because the rookie is right at his innings’ ceiling. Which ever starter needs a blow, Hudson will fill his spot, then also work out of the pen.
I think it’s a brilliant idea, especially for Hanson. Gotta protect The Future.

I Love baseball, but I’m worn out by the abject mediocrity. My team has no chance even though the Team of Choice on This Blog is tied with them for 2nd place. i’m big into reality and I not only call a spape a spade I call crap “Crap”–Enough for me. If someone steps up out of Los Angeles, Detroit or Texas to keep the ESPN teams out of the World Series I will be elated. In the NL, I really don’t want the man Who Invented Baseball to be in the World Series. Also want Manny to again be on the outside looking in. I don’t want the Phillies in because of the lunacy that could possibly start about Charley being a “Genius”–Gosh!!So Let’s Go Tigers v. Rockies.

Brandon I like that lineup a lot. I really do think Mcclouth almost needs to hit second, think he fits perfect there. Really like the idea of Roche at 4 but because Brian is our young “main man” he will always be in the 4th spot no matter what.

Though Church is an enormous upgrade over him on defense, and truthfully is a pretty good hitter. I like the guy a lot.

Ive been searching for the McCann home run off Clemens in the playoffs a few years back, anyone know where i can find it. I sat all afternoon watching Sid Bream’s “The Slide” and Otis Nixon’s “The Catch” and of course the Final Out of the1995 World Series.

If Garrett Anderson weren’t made of brittle china, an OF of Anderson, McClouth, and Diaz would be tolerable. But when two out of the three are lame, and Church still has a balky elbow, your OF is the reason why the Braves hitters are sucking on pipe.

Like I was telling you the other night, don’t let anybody (including me) tell you what to think. I was an unabashed liberal when I was young. Read the book “The 5000 Year Leap”. Learn about our great constitution. Then ask questions. Why is this happening? Why is that happening?
Besides, I don’t think Patrick Henry said “Give me security, or give me death.”
Welfare has it’s place, and it is not at the furtherest point from where it is needed, the federal government. It is needed in families, churches, and neighborhoods. Not in the government. Not mentioned anywhere in your constitution.
But, don’t take my word for it, I am a right wing nut job. Ask questions for yourself.
Show me where our Executive Branch has the rights under the constitution to set up Czars??? Look into the background of some of these “Czars” and tell me you want them working in a free society. Communism and Socialism has no place in our government.
Or, you can just stick your head in the sand, like so many are doing, like had done for years.

Now things get REALLY interesting heading into the Philadelphia series. A sweep puts Atlanta right back in the thick of things.
This team hasn’t had a real seven- or eight-game winning streak all year. Now would be a wonderful time for one.
Moving Matt Diaz to leadoff might be one of the smartest moves Bobby ever has done. I say we keep him there.
