Wonderful. F’n wonderful.

That was horrible

Wow. No comment.
Choking bunch of $&%&#$&$&*

Omar! Letting a Norton walk go to waste!? Shame!
Chilling by venting, folks. Somehow, I don’t feel chill…

Martin, be a hero!
Come on Prado… time to get your first hit of the night baby.
Escobar for Supreme Court
Come on Prado, be the game changer we don’t pay you to be.
August 25th, 20099:24 pm
Norton has been really good at walking in clutch situations
getting out of the inning with no damage! Awesome!
Er Boog….that’s not Latos.
I thought Infante and Prado were our best players? I learned that on the blog…
well we pissed this one away
That sucked, big time. I want to bang my head against a brick wall.
Sick to my stomach…
August 25th, 20099:25 pm
Ur kidding me!
Dontcha just hate when a Norton walk is wasted like that?
Wow. Great pitching there by Gregerson.
Prado gave me a headache.
your typical mid season braves showing there.
whatever, maybe they’ll get em tomorrow .. possibly in the 9th but highly doubt it
Prado just gave ME a headache.
this is almost funny…
a great AB by NORTON, and two of our best hitters CHOKE big time. mother of..
I miss the patchwork lineup from the weekend.
How does Prado not look for a SLIDER there and lay off?? Did he not see Infante’s AT BAT????
I hate the Braves
August 25th, 20099:26 pm
Braves take the bad teams for granted-no excuse
You da man. Great minds, bud. Great minds.
prado not exactly the guy you want up there in that situation. guy hasn’t see anything other than a BP fastball in over a week.
What a freaking GIFT for the Padres. Worse than losing to the Gnats. At least the Gnats have offense…
UNFREAKIN REAL… BASES LOADED 2 CHANCES AND we cant get the ball out of the infield.. prado swings at a pitch not even close to the plate.. game over.. bell time.. way to show up guys..
Well, the only positive thing is that if we can hold them in the 9th…..then we can still tie the game with one swing of the bat, with our power hitters coming up.
I cant imagine the Rockies letting the Padres come into their house and shutting them out 1-0 this time of year. That is one reason why the Rockies are going to make the play-offs why the Braves will be at home watching them.
That Prado swing was about 5 feet away from making any kind of contact. Man. We can’t score A run against Padres? Then tomorrow we’ll score 7 runs…book it.
Jesus – Martin missed that by 5 feet.
Prado hasn’t seen live pitching in how long? Nice no pinch hitter there…..
What the hell was that shyte???
August 25th, 20099:27 pm
The Braves are no match for the Padres!
are we asleep out there????? Jesus that was just terrible……leave the bases loaded with ONE out and dont get crap in??? WOW
That’s the braves for you not the first time and sure wont be the last GAME OVER Bell will get them 1,2,3 in the 9th braves were awful tonight and if the rockies win that should about do it.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHH!!! I’m sorry, Prado, I know you’ve been having a rough time of it, but WHAT DID YOU SWING AT THAT FOR???
This game s…tinks…
Still fully believe this team has been and still is waaay to inconsistent to get into the playoffs.
I’m hurting right now….really bad.
Bobby is worthless why the hell would you not bunt omar with the infield playing as far back as the infield was.
No More, No More Bobby
aw, the whine is in full force…
August 25th, 20099:28 pm
OK Moylan has not been giving up runs lately. I feel a tater coming on.
If you swing at the first pitch, I will kill you. I will find you, and I will haunt you down. I will kill you
I guess JJ knows what it feels like to be Roy Halladay. Great ERA, but no W’s
One thing I have noticed is that Chipper’s throws to first do not have a lot of zip on them.
That burns me up. Bobby didn’t let either of those guys get a hit!
I hope bobby pinch hits for chipper we atleast need to fight and not give them outs like he has for the last couple weeks.
Chop It Up All-Star
Chipper leads off the 9th inning…wonder how many pitches he’ll see.
August 25th, 20099:29 pm
If Chipper only sees one pitch next at bat, it better be over the fence. Other than that, take a damn pitch.
They’re hitting balls “hard” to the outfield all night long, and then they finally get a runner on 3rd with less than two outs and Infante hits a FREAKING POPUP?? You gotta be freaking kidding me…
This game is SO FREAKING BORING!!!!!
Wow that was horrendous. No chance in the ninth, either. Bell has been arguably the best closer in baseball this year.
ahh yes here comes the moylan special. consecutive walks.
Jurrjens4NLCY – Trying to take MFIKY’s job? He may come hunting you….
August 25th, 20099:30 pm
people whining about chipper and he isn’t even up yet… awww, got’s to love me some net…
My poor guy, this is one of Jurrjens best outings and no chance for a W. Lets trade Jurrjens for his sake!
Being dead serious, we’ve got to be the WORST bases loaded hitting team in the majors. ….and still no GS.
Joe, the heart of the order doesn’t start with Chipper … it starts with Mac
August 25th, 20099:31 pm
chilidog75 – You were just a little late on your swing.
Good pitch Moylan.
Braves fan in Nebraska
Braves are the only team in the NL to not have a Grand Slam this year. I’d venture to say there are teams that have as many slams as we do with HITS w/the bases loaded…still 1 inning left but the SD closer has been lights out…will take a big hit from Chipper, Yunel, or Mac…Chipper is due…here is the Nostradamus call of the night…Chipper hits a HR in the bottom of the 9th to tie it and we win it in 11 innings off a Martin Prado HR…
Ok…I need to quit drinkin’…
please this lineup is not at the ballpark tonight.. heart of the order and watch bell goes 1-2-3 and the padres win.. yet the pirates are beating the phillies. the dodgers are winning and we cant freakin score a run against the padres..
DK’s Mom – I must have slept through those
Look for about 6 pages of whining, BS before midnight by the blog losers if the Braves don’t come back.
We don’t even have Frenchy on our team and we still screw it up with bases loaded
I am ready for him, I will haunt him down and I will kill him…
August 25th, 20099:32 pm
wait for it jim. if not tonight, then soon.
if the braves do not make the playoffs, they should remember this game. EMBARRASSING
And the day started so nicely… with the KB pictures et al. But alas, the Braves find a way to ruin all the good feelings here on the blog.
August 25th, 20099:33 pm
Chipper will hit a weak grounder, Bmac will fly out to the warning track, and Anderson will strike out.
Haunt? Like a ghost JJ? Boooooooooo.
I think it would be fun to watch some of these people who do the most whining do anything even remotely athletic, I’m guessing it wouldn’t be pretty…
August 25th, 20099:34 pm
Bell has 30 saves and only 2 Blown Saves. But his last one came on the 16th… so there’s a chance…. just kidding. Good night folks
I’m kind of tired. Can the Bobby-bashers give me their reasons why this is Cox’s fault now so I can sign off a little early?
wow – make that a first pitch weak grounder and I think ya got it nailed
August 25th, 20099:35 pm
So what? That’s what real fans do when they lose a ballgame. It bites….and bites out loud. We don’t have much wiggle room left for cryin’ out loud.
Can a drunk chick run across the field with her top off or something? Pump some life into this dead crowd….
Braves are due for a walk off
Good job Petey!
DK’s Mom – he does suck, doesn’t he?
So many bipolar “fans” that post here. Think you could at least wait until the game is actually over before you start posting your “OMG THE SEASON IS OVER” drivel?
August 25th, 20099:36 pm
What a shame to waste good pitching, just a damn shame.
Moylan. Nails. Again.
Crunch time here. Need to score 2 runs here.
nice inning by Petey
this (offensive) performance coming after an off day
Is Petey on or what??
I love how people keep posting that the Rockies are losing. Guess what? The Rockies are ALWAYS losing at this time of night. By the eighth, they’re always winning. Coming back is what they do. F’n Rockies.
August 25th, 20099:37 pm
Dont worry guys…we’ll get em tomorrow (Bobby Cox Voice)
Bell with a career ERA of 5.40 in 15 games vs the Braves.
20 innings, 12 runs … 22 Ks
