The hitters have been doing their job for about six weeks now.
The fans aren’t coming out because, well, they’re Atlanta fans.
Barely better than Marlins fans these days.

Ok to clear things up-

I wasn’t actually blaming the fans. I was saying they are about as much to “blame” for the Braves not hitting as Bobby Cox is.

Thanks, Shamus.

Oh boy…I mean, pitcher duels bore the living HECK outta me, I’m not gonna lie.

And why can’t BMac put together more than ONE good game in a row? I mean, OK, he hit a homer on back-to-back days in NY, but in the game he hit the second one he still K’d twice…then he goes 0 fer the next day, 3-4 with 5 RBI his next, 0 fer tonight…

And I don’t mean he has to be the hero every night. Just a couple hits so Anderson, Escobar, whoever cann knock him in…

And what is with Chipper? Dangit…he needs a day off!

So far, this is the most boring game I have ever witnessed…

Oh boo-yah! Base hit! Come on, guys! Tie it up and get poor JJ off the hook!

CrimeDog, sports fans here ARE pathetic, in general.

Frustrated

August 25th, 2009
9:19 pm

This is exactly the reason why this team frustrates the hell out of me. They are trying to make the playoffs, yet all they can muster up is 2 hits and 0 runs through 8 innings against one of the worst teams in all of baseball.

To top it off, Jurrgens makes a stupid pitch to their best hitter when he already has 2 outs and nobody on. This is the type of stupid baseball that has eluded them from the playoffs the past 4 years counting.

I already called Direct TV and asked them to cancel my automatic renewal for MLB Extra Innings for next year. I am sick and tired of wasting money on this team. If you can’t beat the Padres at home, you may as well pack it on and call it a season.
