i just want to thank everybody here … in all seriousness … i work nights mostly, and watching the game is frowned upon where I work … so, what do I do? i continually refresh this blog, and am able to follow the game just as well … i keep the game-tracker on as well, but when things slow down there, or something happens that the game-tracker doesn’t illustrate, I can always count on you guys … thanks again!
According to wikipedia, the guys name is Matthew Latos, so its technically NOT his parents fault he spells his name with one ‘t’. For what thats worth…
That’s the third or fourth time they have started the inning with that shot… at least the SS guys are good at their jobs… Which is more than I can say about the Braves offense tonight.
Well, BMac had the good game on Sunday, but he’s been having trouble putting together a few good games in a row…Chipper, don’t know what’s wrong with him…
At least he worked the count a little bit…. but in the end, he’s just making up for Chipper swinging at the first pitch, so the net result is another easy inning.
This is pitiful. If you’re serious about making the playoffs, you don’t let the second-worst team in the league and some no-name thug come into your house and shut you out.
Two more innings to go, Bravos. Wake the *&#! up!!!!
getting 2 hitted by a rookie and one of the worst teams in the league wow… just awful..a chance to make some ground up against a bad team and we are losing.. love adrian gonzalez but hes the best player on that team and the only one.. the day off made them leave there game and the bats home..
If anyone thought this is a playoff team, this game is proof they’re not. It is inexcusable what is going on tonight. They are being 2-hit by a freakin rookie on the second worst team in the league. Playoff caliber teams come out and go for the juggiler against these type teams. What do the Braves do, they sleepwalk, unforgivable.
This is more pathetic than our normal patheticness, I really feel for the poor people who actually paid for tickets to see this mess. We are what we have been for the past three years, a mediocre, slightly over .500 team. We just happened to bundle a year’s worth of wins over the past 2 months.
Amazing what announcers say– “JJ just frustrated with himself”. Are you kidding me? His team scores no runs, and he has to pitch around a lazy left fielder adding base runners and more pitches to his pitch count.
Since we’re blaming outside factors other than the players themselves on this offensive showing, I’ll go with blaming the fans. After all, this is a game with playoff implications and there’s only 15,000 in the stands. It’s the fans who are to blame for not firing this team up. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s the players’ faults.
