i just want to thank everybody here … in all seriousness … i work nights mostly, and watching the game is frowned upon where I work … so, what do I do? i continually refresh this blog, and am able to follow the game just as well … i keep the game-tracker on as well, but when things slow down there, or something happens that the game-tracker doesn’t illustrate, I can always count on you guys … thanks again!

According to wikipedia, the guys name is Matthew Latos, so its technically NOT his parents fault he spells his name with one ‘t’. For what thats worth…

Now let’s score some runs for him!

If anyone thought this is a playoff team, this game is proof they’re not. It is inexcusable what is going on tonight. They are being 2-hit by a freakin rookie on the second worst team in the league. Playoff caliber teams come out and go for the juggiler against these type teams. What do the Braves do, they sleepwalk, unforgivable.

This is more pathetic than our normal patheticness, I really feel for the poor people who actually paid for tickets to see this mess. We are what we have been for the past three years, a mediocre, slightly over .500 team. We just happened to bundle a year’s worth of wins over the past 2 months.

Shamus-

Since we’re blaming outside factors other than the players themselves on this offensive showing, I’ll go with blaming the fans. After all, this is a game with playoff implications and there’s only 15,000 in the stands. It’s the fans who are to blame for not firing this team up. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s the players’ faults.
