UNCBrave- Agreed, look at the Marlins they are not scared about calling up 20 year old players. They always compete. Miguel Cabrera was 20 and hes a great player.

Look hes gunna bat better then Nothing Norton. He can play everyday in September and get expierence cause he will obviously be up next year. I dont think they will re sign GA so the platoon moves to LF Mclouth and or Schafer in CF and Heyward in RF. It could even look like McLouth LF Schafer CF Heyward RF and then have Church Diaz as bench role.

Easy to forget, but Omar was very good as leadoff guy early, had one of highest leadoff OBPs in baseball that first month or two.

That was his sixth homer to lead off a game, first since 2004.
