The Curse of #32 lives on…I’m pretty sure everyone remembers who wore #32 before D-Lo took that number?

This game is so big to the Braves. Especially when you have the lead to begin the game. They have to come back and get the win. Need a big hit from Yunel Escobar.

Station to station baseball, baby. Come on, Matty. Stay hot.
This is a primarily english speaking blog. Try to keep up.
Okay, 2 on and 1 out. Can we please make it count?
If Cox was not a players manager KJ would not be in the majors but Conrad
Nova Scotia Steve
It’s Matty D. time…he is the Fish Whisperer

There’s a hit from Escobar. Braves73, I also like Gonzalez as a manager. I wonder if he’ll get consideration when Bobby Cox retires. I also give a large ammount of credit to the Marlins front office. They have turned over their roster any number of times and they always compete.
Nolasco’s at 94 pitches with one out in the fifth.
How does Gorecki leap over Brandon Jones, Gregor Blanco, even Jordan Schaeffer?
needless to say, we need to capitalize on nolasco’s mistakes right here. i think we will too…
i have faith.
“Boring” thing that the organist played was funny.
No More DP’s!

When Kelly was benched when Prado was made the starter, his average had fallen to .214. Since Kelly’s return from the DL, his average is up to .217.
That early hot streak has turned cold lately.
Matty D now 5 for his last 5, right?
Or is it more than that?
Bases loaded. Start chopping, people.
and here comes Goreki and Norton…yay
please no dp…please no dp…please no dp….
Just a fly ball for the love of all that is good and decent in this world…8O
Takes 3 singles for MCann to score from 1st
Dr. K Schafer is injured so don’t think he really jumped over him
This game is SO important. We’ve got to win this anyway possible.
who said we’re not going to score again?? puh
I wonder that myself…!
Come on Matty! Why are you swinging at the first pitch? Show some f’n patience! Oh wait, nevermind. Nice hit.
Come on G, if you have to make an out make a good productive one

Want evidence that Atlanta needs a little speed? Three singles in a row and no run. That just kills me. A lot of teams get three hits in a row and they at least get one run. Atlanta does need more power but they have also got to get quicker.
Can we please pinch hit for Gorecki?????? PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
Smart “no-go” there for mac. He knows his slow butt couldn’t score on that.
Plase no double play!!!

3:11 was great haha.
lmao @ fish whisperer, matt diaz is a baller, except for the fact that he de-latinized his last name he’s ok
No More Bobby 2.
Oh boy. Now we have Gorecki and probably Norton if BC has enough sense to take Lowe out which I doubt. Actually we may be better off if he keeps Lowe in just so Norton stays on the pines.
Dan Kolb's Mom
Really need to come through here.
Braves Fan in PA
Well if nothing else hopefully Bobby Pinch Hits for Lowe
August 23rd, 20093:15 pm
Gorecki, if you are going to make and out….please make it a long sacrifice fly that scores McCann at least.
*begging for no DP here*
CallupConrad – Fredi deserves a lot of credit for keeping the very young Marlins together. He should hopefully get some consideration if and when Bobby decides to retire.
Dr. K, Gorecki has more home runs than Brandon Jones, is hitting eighty points higher than Gregor Blank-O and Jordan Schafer didn’t hit when he was up earlier this season and has been suffering from injured wrists.
August 23rd, 20093:16 pm
…even Jordan Schaeffer?
If he hits into a DP i may take off my pants and run around the block screaming in frustration.
Lowe is a better hitter than Norton … plus he’s not going to take him out
BMac had to hold up to be sure Ramirez didn’t catch that…didn’t wanna get caught in a DP.
Mac single that could have been a double. Two singles later – he’s made it to 3rd.
NO MORE COX OR CHIPPER!
Last guy I wanna see with the bases loaded.
This ass is going to strike out
how about three straight wild pitches?
Speed/urgency would throw this team into a tizzy. We’re a “bump n’ run” and a “hope for a blast” bunch.
this kid sucks
Not very optimistic …oooh….was that outside ?

Braves73, I’m not trying to detract from what Gonzalez has done. I’m just saying that their front office has done a great job. Gonzalez may be just the man for the youth movement that is getting ready to take place in Altanta.
First two tries in this AB doesn’t give me confidence.
Send Gorecki Down NOW! We need a hitter up there, we are in the middle of a race
inning over with Norton coming up.
Rob from SC
Heyward would be nice here
A strikeout from this dude wouldn’t be that bad… Lowe had a hit earlier… and we got a good (injured) bench…
yikes, that was fugly.
oh sweet jesus and now Norton
This kid is worthless folks. He looks lost out there.
not productive, wasted out. Kinda surprised he’s taking out Lowe
paging meteor to hit on deck circle
Back to Gwinnett you go next week. Bum.
What an ugly at-bat by Gorecki.
And it’s up to Norton. Maybe, just maybe. All we ask of him is a base hit, right?
This Is really beginning to P’s Me off!!!
Here Comes Norton, Inning Over “Bank On It!”
Gorecki STINKS !!!! Now NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORTon !!! SUCKS personified
Here he comes ladies and gentleman…the one, the only, INNING KILLER – GREG NORTON!!! Hope he proves me wrong, but .148..
Ain’t we got some damn good chocies. Boooobie boxed himself into a fine situation. At least Norton may walk
August 23rd, 20093:18 pm
WHy is that MF Gorecki in the game. Oh well it OK we have Norton in. And people wonder why I want Cox to be gone.
If we dont score, theres the ballgame, can we please send fckn Gorecki back down. HE SUCKS
Holy God….Norton….in a clutch situation.
OK, so the kid whiffs. I want to slash my wrists with a butter knife every time Greg Norton is put into the game.
3 singles and then Gorki N Norton. I’m about to lose it.
The Shark… is about to…TURN THIS SEASON AROUND !!!!!
Meanwhile Brooks Conrad hacks away down in the minors and we have these three (Kelly, Reid and Norton) costing us a huge game.
Two games in a row, Lowe’s been the, ahem, “stopper.” That is, he’s stopped momentum.
Whatcha waitin’ on Norty?
we would have a better chance scoring with blind, deaf midgets hitting back to back
i have a bad feeling that ole dude is going to blow a fastball right by norton for the K…
August 23rd, 20093:19 pm
Can anybody tell me why Brandon Jones is not on this team?????????????????????
Bobby Just Lost the game here!
Norton Should’ve been released or sent to AAA 2 months ago
So why oh why did Booby let Norton bat?
Let’s see what Kawakami’s interpreter can do with a bat. Can’t be any worse.
3 Singles and No effing Runs?
I hate this Station 2 station Crap…!
I don’t think Gorecki is ready at this point and may not be at any point. There just aren’t a lot of options. Thanks Nort!
Wasted, wasted, wasted.
Time to call up Jordan Stifler
This has got to be one of the worst teams I have ever seen scoring from second on a hit. Time after time this has caused trouble. You shouldn’t need 4 dayum hits to get a run in. Probably gonna cost us here again.
Greg Norton, professional outmaker
Once again…..no speed kills.
Norton better be DFA after this game…seriously. I guess he put it in play which Gorecki couldn’t do. Oh well, time to say it…….BALLGAME!
August 23rd, 20093:20 pm
If only Gorecki would have done that, that would have gotten McCann home.
