Jurrjens4NLC – he’ll kill you if you call him that.
lol @ the pic jeffrey. I hate him. I don’t care if he saves starving children from burning builds every day of his life. The media made me hate him with the tebow walks on water act. I can not wait for him to go to the NFL and (hopefully) flop like Matt freakin Lineart who was shoved down our throats for all those years.
Anyone else here LIKED Gant as an announcer tonight? We didn’t have to listen to Chip Caray’s multiple cliches per inning. And Gant was kinda soothing.
RHR – I love that picture. The headline of the article was something like “When Tebow met Obama, and the angels wept.”
Completely agree on Tebow. He’s a great guy with great character who’s a Believer. But I can’t stand the guy. The media/ESPN can’t talk enough about the guy and I’m sick of it. And the fact that he plays for Florida makes it about a hundred times worse.
Does Lincecum pitch tomorrow?
If so, then even if the Rockies win tonight, it shouldn’t be that big a deal.
Because the closest the Braves can get after tomorrow’s action is 3 games. So if they win tomorrow and Lincecum does what Lincecum does, then they’d still be three back.
You guys are fortunate to be able to see on TV what you call (or used to call) your “favorite” baseball team. Once TBS parted ways with the Braves I’m now able to watch them play when ESPN air them or on any ocassional game (like when facing the Red Sox or Yankees, or when they face some contender). I’m just a Braves fan from the Dominican Republic, and I can’t stand you people expecting the Braves to blow up the lead (Soriano just got the last out, so… haha).
If you guys are so smart and have so much knowledge of baseball and, obviously, are so talented (and I’m not saying “more talented” than any of the players on our roster), why don’t you get your a**s down to a tryout camp or get drafted, or signed or whatever… and take on one roster spot on this team?
Got home from Chattanooga-MBraves game. I just want to second everything anyone has said about Mr. Heyward. He is huge, lightning fast and has a cannon. He threw a strike to home that was never above head high and didn’t bounce. As excited as I’ve been, I’m even more so now. Right field won’t be an iffy spot for the big club for long.
