Ross is in a steady decline….Bobby needs to get him a few more ABs. Needs to use him as a PH.
J.D.: see vitals leveling out. Stabilized. Good.

Gorecki do something great you’ll be loved like Francisco Cabrera
Ok JeffreyD … Ok just had to bark about that statement with HIS name in it!
Giants and Rockies tied now at 6
August 22nd, 20099:50 pm
haha, okay….maybe I went a little too far. I’ll retract my Tebow statement.
Good choice. You’re off the hook for now. But remember, I know people.
NO MORE COX OR CHIPPER!
I’m already tired of this Gorecki kid.
August 22nd, 20099:51 pm
Well folks here comes the DRAMA …. are you ready?
That Effing Hanley
Time For MFIKY to Be “Thuggish Ruggish” Or Else!
Well, it’ll be up to Soriano to shut the Fish down in the 9th.
Should be well rested and throwing hard. He also won’t have to worry about Gload.
Nova Scotia Steve
MFIKY…I wonder what kind of “mood” he’s in tonight…
Uggghhhh! Leeettttsss Get Ready To Rumbllleeeee!!!!!
No More Bobby 2.
OK now Bobby. Your man crush closer enters. I feel a 2 run tater coming on.
August 22nd, 20099:52 pm
All this Tebow talk reminded me of this
Wasted opportunity. Come one three more outs. No Walks Soriano.
Sure would be nice if we could win this and not lose it.
Escobar for Supreme Court

Rob from SC- Opening day 2010
on not one sorry
jeffrey d, just that name Tebow makes me cringe.
Man. I honestly cant believe Ross and Gorecki didn’t come through there. I mean, what are the odds? Those guys are great.
What a stupid, stupid, stupid decision to sac bunt Diaz (2-for-2 with a walk) for two guys who are a combined 1 for 6. AAAAHHHH.
Come on, Raffy. Quick and painless.
What ever happened to Comrade Cox anyway? I loved his posts…….
good point about Gload… he is 4-4 against Soriano…dodged a bullet there.
August 22nd, 20099:54 pm
pop outs are good, 1 gone
August 22nd, 2009
Sure would be nice if we could win this and not lose it.
Comment of the year
Simpson just said Uggly is 3-6 with 2 HR’s vs. Soriano…. ouch! Lets make it 3-7 with a K.
Come one MFIKY, keep this, and I call you MFILY…
thank you jesus hanley can’t beat us this inning
Nova Scotia Steve. I will also vote on that one. You go Mitchell.
Here it gets Uggla.
August 22nd, 20099:55 pm
I don’t even know what MFIKY’s intro music is…LT’s site has it as Pitbull, Fuego but that’s per ESPN and she’s not sure.
A smile from MFIKY…i saw it…did ya’ll see it when Ramirez was jogging by?
that’s an uggla career avg. against Soriano
August 22nd, 20099:56 pm
Man That Scared Me!!!! WHEW!
I think my heart just skipped a beat… PHEW
Rob from SC
I thought Uggla got that one
Awww MFIKY. Better luck next hitter.
Ok I can open my eyes again.
he tried to give him one to put out
Sit down Uggly. You don’t own MFIKY no mo’.
WHEWWWWW!!!! That was scary.
Sit Down Fuggla!
Sorry folks…I’m headin to the bathroom.
Of COURSE the Phillies and Rockies have come back in their respective games. Isn’t that the way it works?
Did he catch it I won’t look
Why did everybody leave?
Come on Braves fans!
August 22nd, 20099:57 pm
DAN, YOU ONE UGGLA MOTHER FUGGA!!!!
Rafy won’t get away with a third bad pitch, will he?
I thought he got it too…. whew.
I vote for Devil Went Down to Georgia for his into
Call me new… someone explain MFIKY? I have been trying to figure it out, but no go
Jurrjens4NLC – he’ll kill you if you call him that.
lol @ the pic jeffrey. I hate him. I don’t care if he saves starving children from burning builds every day of his life. The media made me hate him with the tebow walks on water act. I can not wait for him to go to the NFL and (hopefully) flop like Matt freakin Lineart who was shoved down our throats for all those years.
one more strike!
that should have been intro music
August 22nd, 20099:58 pm
MFIKY is throwing meatballs but they are not getting it.
Finally Cox Didn’t screw up a close game…
Awfense is still a concern…!
D-Lo Comes Correct Tomorrow and goes 7 strong, “Bank On It!” And the Bandwagon will be back in stride!
Well done, MFIKY!!!!!!
Rockies lead now…. 7-6. Boo.
Hell yeah. Good win ya’ll.
You kiddin’ me?
Sit down in that dug out fish and be quite!! Great win Braves
Nice win. Gotta win tomorrow.
Now we need a Giants win
Hanson is becoming the ace of the staff.
First home win this year against the Fish.
Well done Braves! Well done!
Snyder the Architect
Yeah! Great win…there we go Raffy…
August 22nd, 20099:59 pm
After Soriano gets the save, Gonzo needs to be the closer
That’s what a closer does!
MFIKY got away living dangerously but we’ll take it, Baseball is a game of inches…!
Anyone else here LIKED Gant as an announcer tonight? We didn’t have to listen to Chip Caray’s multiple cliches per inning. And Gant was kinda soothing.
And let me know if y’all ever seen anyone look meaner than MFIKY.
Big win folks…Take down Nolasco tomorrow…
Colorado now WINNING…Are you kidding me
Rockies still have 1st and 3rd
Yes Hanson is becoming the Ace its excellent
August 22nd, 200910:00 pm
And we won tonight without Prado and McCann, as well as WITH a befuddled Chipper.
Pie!!!! Who wants PIE!!!!
So help you if you go out and lay another egg tomorrow Lowe!!!! This would be a big series win and we can’t afford you being off your game ….
August 22nd, 200910:01 pm
Ashley – agreed on preferring Gant!
Vazquez is hanging too many changeups. He needs to throw that pitch a little less.
Whoo-hoo! Really boring after the first inning, but nice win, boys!
Kris, MFIKY is Mother F, i’ll kill you!! Btw we have the same name, spelling and all
RHR – I love that picture. The headline of the article was something like “When Tebow met Obama, and the angels wept.”
Completely agree on Tebow. He’s a great guy with great character who’s a Believer. But I can’t stand the guy. The media/ESPN can’t talk enough about the guy and I’m sick of it. And the fact that he plays for Florida makes it about a hundred times worse.
Plus his face….he just has the face of a tool.
Co-Sign Hun…I loved Gant Tonight…Bout time we get a change of pace!
2 outs, horrible baserunning by the Rockies after a great block by McCann
August 22nd, 200910:02 pm
Not a great win or even a good win. Just a win we needed to win. Not really even a good game but Tommy’s still the man.
Why do they have to lose the first game of every series these days? I don’t like that.
I was just informed that I made a duplicate comment and it would not be posted. That’s because I still don’t know what the hell MFIKY means.
What does it mean?
I meant great play by Molina
Does Lincecum pitch tomorrow?
If so, then even if the Rockies win tonight, it shouldn’t be that big a deal.
Because the closest the Braves can get after tomorrow’s action is 3 games. So if they win tomorrow and Lincecum does what Lincecum does, then they’d still be three back.
This month we’ve won a lot of games without McCann, metaphorically speaking…
August 22nd, 200910:03 pm
Wow, 35,000 ppl? Pretty decent.
San Fran is falling apart…right fielder just missed a fly ball…run scored…Fowler gets a triple 8-6 Colorado
I was wondering about that!
Your question has been answered on here tonight.
You guys are fortunate to be able to see on TV what you call (or used to call) your “favorite” baseball team. Once TBS parted ways with the Braves I’m now able to watch them play when ESPN air them or on any ocassional game (like when facing the Red Sox or Yankees, or when they face some contender). I’m just a Braves fan from the Dominican Republic, and I can’t stand you people expecting the Braves to blow up the lead (Soriano just got the last out, so… haha).
If you guys are so smart and have so much knowledge of baseball and, obviously, are so talented (and I’m not saying “more talented” than any of the players on our roster), why don’t you get your a**s down to a tryout camp or get drafted, or signed or whatever… and take on one roster spot on this team?
The other Heath
Got home from Chattanooga-MBraves game. I just want to second everything anyone has said about Mr. Heyward. He is huge, lightning fast and has a cannon. He threw a strike to home that was never above head high and didn’t bounce. As excited as I’ve been, I’m even more so now. Right field won’t be an iffy spot for the big club for long.
Lowe will love the weather tomorrow. That’s a plus.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
