That’s a disgrace. Those teams should be removed from baseball.
Brad Penny sucks.
All I know is if the Yankees end up playing the Angels in the playoffs, they will lose. The Yankees are to the Angels what the Angels are to the Red Sox in October.
The Yankees are going to lose in the playoffs either way. I can’t say I really want to see the Phillies win the world series again but if it comes down to them and the Dodgers again, they have my support.
The Cardinals don’t impress me. I bet we’ll beat them in St. Louis next month.
All I know is the Yankees aren’t going to win the world series. I guarantee you that. And I said the same thing about the Cubs last year.

Watched The Prestige again last night…. I like that movie, but even if I didn’t, I definitly like watching Scarlett Johansson…. hmmm…. I’m in a little bit better of a mood with just the mere mention of her name.

Steve Holt, off the top of my head the Braves have recently lost the first game against SD/LA/Phi/NY and now it looks like Fla. if they don’t start soon. No way it goes another hour before they call it. I wouldn’t think.

Just noticed that all of the damage done against Vazquez his last two rough starts has been via home runs; maybe it’s just fatigue, but I hope it isn’t the start of a trend like Soriano’s bad stretch last year….

Heath – I also like The Prestige, although I have trouble sometimes differentiating it from The Illusionist. The key difference, I suppose, is Scarlett in one and Jessica Biel in the other.

For those crying for LaR for cleanup………….forget it………..it aint happening. Remember Coxs approach toward game………..That is Mcs spot and it will stay like that for months……….many………..just like the KJ vs Prado thing and just like the JF situation and just like many many more things……..I can also mantion Wickman as closer……….. Carroll just saw your note that the game would have been over had you started at 7.10, but that fails to take account of the huge rally by the Braves in the 9th, which would take it into extras, so you would have been watching the 11th inning when the rains came.
Hope it clears up soon so we can watch the come back!

I get the Braves’ Peachtree TV feed with no commercials or programming. The camera has been on the whole time. Joe thinks they’re going to bang the game. He says, with a yawn, that there are people here “for some frickin’ reason.”
