Fun fact–Norton has a .338 OBP. Unfortunately, that’s the only thing he’s done well this season…

EfSC–yeah, I knew that. He hit pretty well in AA last year IIRC.

We got a chance. The Marlins manager is an idiot. I live in Ft Laudrdale now, and I know. The Braves have Jones, McCann and Laroche due in bottom of 9th, Pinto has been looking real good and the goofball has his “closer” Nunez warming up who has not pitched in a week , will come in wild and Braves will pull this out. Trust me. Anyone who lives down here knows there is no mystery as to why this guy looks like an 8 year old who just lost his lollipop.DOOFUS!!!! And a Cox disciple.

“Heck, even many fans of this blog start saying “ballgame” when we go down 1-0….Can anyone get some stats on the braves record when they score first?”

A majority of the people who call ballgame in the 5th inning when we get down by two and remain scoreless know that our offense rarely comes back in games, that’s why we do it

I was the one who’s not pregnant! Adrienne of the Braves PR staff was doing most of the heavy lifting on the windows and that was embarrassing since she’s about seven months pregnant. So I got up and tried to redeem myself.

I could tell Chip was cracking from here, because he looked over at me from the TV booth and made a funny face as he was ragging up. Course while we are still tapping at our computers, I believe the TV booth is empty. perhaps they are back in the press box cafeteria, having a snack!

The windows are to protect our computers from the rain. I’ll take the kidding every time!

And Josh Caray is sitting a couple rows back here and just made a great point. Had we started this at 7:10 like we should have, this game would be over.

chilidog75 – I think the same think about Hanley could be said about Pujols. The guy is sooo much more of a monster than people give him credit for. Pujols and Hanley should be the two biggest stars in the game, and they aren’t. People are soo in love with Manny and ARod…yet Pujols and Hanley are soo much more of complete players. I love watching Pujols and his fundamentals. Always looking to take the extra base, he gets guys over when he should. Really a complete player, not just a huge HR/RBI guy, but everything.

And I wouldn’t expect Heyward to out-produce the Church/Diaz combo, which as I mentioned has been pretty dam solid for a month now.

Everyone knows who Pujols is, yes, but the fact that he is the best player in baseball, and pretty much should’ve won the MVP every year for I dunno how many years in a row now, is saying something. You hardly ever since the Cardinals on ESPN. They have a great staff, a great offense, yet it is always the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, and Cubs on ESPN.

Tomahawkin, I’m in advertising and it would shock you but the Marlins are in the top 10 in local ratings. The numbers they get(When contending like now) are unbelievable. However, as you know with all the New Yorkers down here and the seniors, this may be the CHEAPEST and tightest area in the Western Hemisphere. And of course a great number of these idiots are so upside down on their mortgages that they can barely pay the water bill, let alone shellout money for a baseball game.

By the way, Nick Johnson has to be the biggest Goldbricker in Major League Baseball. For 6 days he has been telling this idiot manager and management that his hamstring is getting better and now he comes out and says he might not be ready next week. I don’t want to read anyone saying how we should go after this big piece of goo over the Winter.
