When this team gets hit hard they curl up like a baby in the fetal position. They have no fight when they are getting blown out. Javy had a bad inning and again Bobby left a starter in too long. No the game is practically out of reach. This team lately just always has our number. And Chipper needs to get on the phone with his dad and figure his stuff out. We really need him to start to be a force in the middle of that line up.

How is Chipper going to hit into a double play? How many outs has he accounted for in his 0 for 18.
It may be me, but Chip must hit very well when I am not watching/game daying the game. He is hitting much like Norton when I listen.
Lets do something different and have a big comeback. I don’t think it is the constition and by-laws of Atalnta Braves baseball to fight back from 5 runs down,

Hey Cox is finally learning. He only sat on his hands while his pitcher gave up 4 runs this time. Who knows, by the time the Braves are eliminated from postseason competition, maybe he’ll be pulling the starter while the Braves still have a chance to win! What an idiot!

By years end, most of you will agree. We could have had Smoltz & Glavine finish their careers in Atlanta on a farewell tour and the stadium would have been 80% full every night & we would have missed the playoffs…………….Or we could keep playing Frank and Bobby ball like we have for the last 4 years and we’ll keep and ‘competitive team’ but still miss the playoffs. Give me the farewell tour this year and start ALL OVER next year.
