werent we down against the cubs earlier this year at home and being no-hit through 7…yet we came back and won the game? and we werent down by just one….i think we were down by four. its just one run. we can still win this game….

You gotta respect the way the Marlins run their organization though. They always field one of the youngest if not the youngest team in MLB. Miguel Cabrera was only 20 when he made his debut.

DOWN ON THE FARM:
DOMINICAN LEAGUE:
6′ 4″ right-hander LUIS de LUNA continues to dominate. The tall DOMINICAN is currently 9-2 with a 2.08 ERA and 0.81 WHIP in 73.2 IP, 49 H, 17 ER, 11 BB, and 66 SO.
3B EDISON SANCHEZ now has 151 AB’s and after a .294 July average, he’s brought his average up to .306 so far in August. His power numbers have declined since the All-Star break, but his BB’s are on the rise and the SO’s are down dramatically in the second half. Overall the 6′ 4″ VENEZUELAN is hitting .291 for the season with a .930 OPS and 44 H, seven 2B, four 3B, and four HR, nine SB, two CS, 34 BB and 40 SO. BUT fielding is rough with 13 E. They are obviously trying to convert him to the position ala KJ. Pretty good patience at the plate too. .329 with runners on and .381 in scoring position while drawing more walks than SO’s in both situations.

We did, thanks. I love the penguins, too! They were so cute in their little home-away-from-home today. Once two of them were in the water and raced around and then jumped out at the same time like they were having a race! Then as we were leaving, all but two got in the water and it looked like they were having a pool party.
Yeah, the dolphins should be cool, too. And I love those beluga whales. Daddy does a lot of stuff with them, the penguins, and the sea otters when he goes in on Tuesdays.
