Between the bases loaded double play and giving away the 2nd out of the 8th, Chipper may have single handedly blown this game if the Mets find any semblance of an offense now.
Sheffield is an ass for demanding a contract extension while his team is down it’s top four hitters and fighting for the rest of its season. If he threatens to go home the Mets should go ahead and let him. Baseball is ready to be rid of players like him. Just like Bonds, and Sosa….so long Sheffield and we’ll see you in the ‘roid hall of fame.

Yea again Inge has more homers and more rbi chipper has better obp, and average which one do you think brings in the money or all stars. Oh yea Inge is the All star haha your funny man real funny.
And chipper isnt an all star, he didnt win an MVP??!?! hes gotta be 10 years older then Inge and he is still a better hitter..You think he cares about the money hes made over 150 mil with the braves. Dude you really dont think before you type do you?
And stars are paid for offensive output. Chipper’s offensive output>>>>Inge’s offensive output. There really shouldn’t be any debate about that unless you are incurably dense.
whoever said KK= chuck james.. i don’t think james ever beat roy halladay and johan santana in the same series. shoot james probably never beat two guys of that caliber in his whole short career.
Such a goober thing to say. Beat Jake Peavy in July 2006, beat Roger Clemens in September 2006, beat Curt Schilling in June 2007

You make no sense. The debate is over who you would take NOW, NOT ten years ago. Aramis is 31 not that much younger anyway. Also if your a power hitter you should still be able to hit homeruns Barry Bonds did even in his late 30s steroids are not. Next time you jump in get the subject right.
We need to find a 3rd basemen to platoon with Chipper and we need to never ever resign Gonzo after this year and just not bring him in to pitch he is horrible…throws a fastball right down the middle to frenchy when everyone knows he’s a good fastball hitter and will swing on the first pitch
