So, let’s calm the hell down with what a bum Lowe is.
When I was in Atlanta a couple years ago…(we had great seats)….and I was loud as f*&k…going around high fivin people/chest bumps…you name it….People came up to me and said “Your not from here are you?”
That just added to the quietness that is Turner Field 80 percent of the time…that makes me sad.
There was one point I got up on my seat…sitting second row from the field by where the ball boy/girl sits down the right field line…and yelled “I love this team” while standing on my seat.
That was the night Francoeur made his Braves Debue..and we went on to sweep the Cubs in a four game series…
Well if there was ever a perfect way to bounce back from last night awful nightmare we sure did it. There is no better feeling than putting a team away early with your ace on the mound.
keylargo………Manuel knows that the Mets season is over with. My guess is that he’s trying to let his young pitcher learn how to work his way out of jams. Plus his bullpen has been overworked. He burned through his bullpen in the previous 4 game series with the Giants.
At least Bobby made 1 pitching change during the 8 run inning last night. Manuel made 0. So we can all agree that Bobby is at least better than Jerry Manuel right?
Braveheart……….very informative 7:45pm posting. The info you shared smacks in the face of what many on here have been saying about Derek Lowe since last night.
No More Bobby, regarding your 7:38: What are you talking about “smoking?” Line drives? Yeah, I smoked some line drives back in Little League, no doubt. (smile)
McFann ;Ô;……………I told you that all you had to do was be patient. Brian McCann would come around. I have loads of faith in him.

I don’t think a single one of us would disagree that the offense should have done more last night. But that’s been a problem we have had all year, inconsistency. All teams go through it, even the best teams. Teams lose games for a gazillion reasons. You can sit around and analyze each one, or look at the season/month/week in more of a composite.
Going ape shyt over a 6 inning stretch, in my opinion makes no sense. Last night was a fluke pitching wise, and an example of how our offense (how many teams offense) have been this year.
Say it, then move on. You don’t need to go all CAPITALIZED on this sort of stuff. Do that, and you will get along with a lot more folks on here.
Also, it would be darned nice of you to apologize to Mitchie for your comments earlier. I don’t really care what you say to me, I have tough skin.
