I honestly don’t think this is just a career “up” year for Vazquez. He’s found himself as a pitcher, even at his advanced age. Takes a long time for some guys. Took five-years before Steve Bartkowski was worth a damn. It’s like it all hit him at once, “ahhh, so THIS is how you do it?” Isn’t that at least possible with Vazquez? I just can’t see his coming out and pitching like a stiff next year. Maybe Roger had the magic formula for him. Maybe he figured it out for himself…

Phillies are just a better team. Have the ability to score runs with average, power, and speed. Braves really don’t have any of those things. And now the Phillies have starting pitching that is as good as the Braves…not good.

Another bad pitch and he parks it in the seats. So frustrating, you can make the guy look like a complete fool but if you make a mistake he will kill you.
