I think McCann would be a much better hitter in the 5 or 6 hole. Catching takes a toll and for him to be the behind Chipper getting alot of big Ab’s in tough situations thats alot of pressure. McCann is the best NL hitting catcher but that doesnt mean he’s a cleanup guy. If McCann played any other position he wouldnt be that big of a name. If you know what i mean. He’s a great player but its alot to ask of one player.

I like Kotchman and I think he’s a solid player on the right team. Having said that, he had 6 homers in 298 at bats for us this year. LaRoche has 3 in 35 at bats.
