chilidog75………..people are too hung up on the infidelity thing. I feel that it goes against a man’s nature for him to only have sex with one person. You guys should really read the Jason Whitlock article on foxsports.com. It really explains how foolish it is for a professional athlete to get married during his career.
Women who want to date and marry a professional athlete should know this. It isnt that Josh Hamilton doesnt love his wife. It’s the fact that he is a man who probably has an enormous appetite. Men like variety. Asking a man to turn off and deny his desire for other women in a sexual manner is simply unrealistic. That is why I will never get married. I get bored after I’ve been with someone for too long. I can only imagine how it is for a professional athlete.

With college football just around the corner, I have a question… If a guy breaks away and is very obviously going to score a TD, but a guy off the bench just jumps out in front of him and trips/tackles him…. what is the ruling?

John, that makes sense, but in Cooper’s case wouldn’t umpires have consistent signals for each other. I mean throwing up the right hand isn’t Coopers normal signal for that or we would have seen it before and Merriweather would have known what it meant. I just can’t buy his story.

Rob while we are at it…I don’t believe Kershaw pitched MORE than 5 innings per start the year he got called up from AA, due to the fact he didn’t have arm strength to go a certain innings per season count.

However, marriage isnt for everyone. Not all of us feel that in order to love a woman, you have to commit to ONLY having sex with her for the rest of your freaking life. Why cant a man love one woman and enjoy sex with other women from time to time?

Meanwhile, Kawakami is doing just fine so far tonight. 6 innings pitched, 3 hits, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, 99 pitches thrown.
I hope that Bobby throws him out for one more inning. He’s pitching well, plus the bullpen could use one less inning to pitch.

OK, this is really ticking me off. ESPN has now highlighted the Braves game twice. Both times you would think the Dodgers are blowing us out. It goes like this: “Kershaw has blah blah strikeouts, only given up 2 hits against Kenshin Kawakami, game is scoreless in the 7th.”
Nary a mention that Kawakami is throwing a 3 hit shutout.

The Bird and Indian……….dude, I respect women. I respect them enough to let them know from the very beginning what I’m about. I dont lie to women, tell them that I’m looking for a relationship so I can get laid. That is why I meet certain types of females who are more than ok with the NSA (no strings attached) kind of deal. Living in the Bay Area, there’s plenty of women who arent looking to get married and have babies.
I certainly dont tell women that their place is in the kitchen.
Also, unless rape is involved, how can having consensual sex be disrespectful to women? Hell, if I was married, I would be ok with my wife having sex with other men. I’m not hung up on that, especially if she was ok with me having sex with other women. I’m not a hypocrite.
