you cant tell me that you would say “no thanks, I love my wife too much”.
ummmm, yes I can.
I can, too, Lentzie, so I guess that means that you’re the one with the morals prob, eh?
My heart breaks for JH. Addiction is a horrible, horrible thing. I hope he keeps battling back. He’s shown a lot of guts coming back this far, and I’ll keep cheering him on.
Sexual addiction?
Give me a flippin break.
We’re men. We ALL WANT sex. All the time. That doesn’t make us “addicts.”
At some point though, you have to sort of mature and — at least — think about how your actions affect those around you. And again, perhaps, destroy the camera.
Supes, Bowman wrote a story about the ump, got his side of things. That’s what they’re talking about, bro. Me? I had to have my notebook filed at 9 p.m., had to be up here writing at time umpires arrive. Figured Cooper would say what he did anyway, if he talked at all (he did talk, said he called it a ball, etc.) Besides, if Braves had lost the game it would’ve been one thing. They did not. But they still got shafted on that call.
chilidog75………..I’m not condoning Hamilton for posing for the pics. I’m pretty sure that he was pretty wasted from the booze and wasnt thinking about that. He had his hand full with those 3 young hotties. I can only imagine what he did with all 3 of them when they got back to his hotel room.
Knowing that he had his hands full, how can we expect him to exercise discretion, especially when he was liquored up?
Also, I dont get this “oh, he embarrassed her by cheating on her”. It’s just sex. Just because you have sex with someone, does not mean that you love them. Women need to understand that professional athletes are under a lot of pressure to perform and under the spotlight a lot. They are faced with temptations that the average man will never encounter.
Sure, it’s easy for most of you to say that it’s immoral. However, if it was you on the road 6 months out of the year…..and you had to turn down hotties on a daily basis…….I’m sure that you would eventually “slip” here and there.
Innocent Bystander: “Pete- I think the point is that while nobody is forcing Josh to drink, he doesn’t have the self-control or self-power to say no. He knows the horrible consequences, so why would he completely willingly do what he did? He is simply powerless at times to his addictions, which is very sad. I can’t say he’s a bad person because of his struggles.”
Im not saying hes a bad person either, even though I dont agree with him or anyone else being “powerless.” I was commenting specifically on the “alcohol killed Billy Martin…drugs killed Steve Howe” BS that guy wrote in his article. Not one word about personal responisibilty, etc. Sounds just like “prostate cancer killed” whomever, as if that were the same. Gimme a break
That was just ugly. Diory had it all the way … but so did Diaz. Place is loud, I’ll give ‘em that. Don’t know if others couldn’t hear it or if anyone called off everybody

Does the homeplate umpire always signal the 2B umpire on ball 4 with a runner stealing? I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of that.
Personally, I think Cooper is lying. I remember McCann did have a confused look on his face at the time and looked into the Braves dugout as Bobby was coming out. Also, Eithier didn’t start taking his shinguard off until well after the play. Originally he was standing there watching the play at 2nd waiting for a call there.
