Supes, Bowman wrote a story about the ump, got his side of things. That’s what they’re talking about, bro. Me? I had to have my notebook filed at 9 p.m., had to be up here writing at time umpires arrive. Figured Cooper would say what he did anyway, if he talked at all (he did talk, said he called it a ball, etc.) Besides, if Braves had lost the game it would’ve been one thing. They did not. But they still got shafted on that call.

chilidog75………..I’m not condoning Hamilton for posing for the pics. I’m pretty sure that he was pretty wasted from the booze and wasnt thinking about that. He had his hand full with those 3 young hotties. I can only imagine what he did with all 3 of them when they got back to his hotel room.
Knowing that he had his hands full, how can we expect him to exercise discretion, especially when he was liquored up?
Also, I dont get this “oh, he embarrassed her by cheating on her”. It’s just sex. Just because you have sex with someone, does not mean that you love them. Women need to understand that professional athletes are under a lot of pressure to perform and under the spotlight a lot. They are faced with temptations that the average man will never encounter.
Sure, it’s easy for most of you to say that it’s immoral. However, if it was you on the road 6 months out of the year…..and you had to turn down hotties on a daily basis…….I’m sure that you would eventually “slip” here and there.

Does the homeplate umpire always signal the 2B umpire on ball 4 with a runner stealing? I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of that.
Personally, I think Cooper is lying. I remember McCann did have a confused look on his face at the time and looked into the Braves dugout as Bobby was coming out. Also, Eithier didn’t start taking his shinguard off until well after the play. Originally he was standing there watching the play at 2nd waiting for a call there.

Innocent Bystander……….dude, I escaped the chains of religion long ago, when I moved away from the South to the West Coast. I’m not bound by the sex and love crap. If it works for some people, fine. But not everyone believes that sex and love are the same.
This is s free country. If people want to use religion to have their “morals”, more power to them. But those of us who dont want to go along with that crap, are free to do with that.
I dont see how an athlete having random sex with scores of women is “shocking”. Also, having sex with someone other than your wife does not make one “immoral”. It means that a man “is a man”.
