N8………answer this. If the Braves had not signed Kawakami in the off season, who do you think that Frank Wren could have signed and for how much? Also, do you think that the player would have signed with the Braves?
Also, if Tommy Hanson had started the year with the Braves, do you think that he would have had the success in April that he had in June when he was called up? Also, when Jo Jo Reyes got hurt, how do you think that Kris Medlen would have done as the 5th starter from June til now?
It’s easy to say what you would do now………however, given what Frank Wren knew at the time, he made the right decision to sign Kawakami.
