Manny would be a Marlin then ~_~

CrimeDog……..I am far from bitter. However, I do have EXPECTATIONS when it comes to the Braves putting the best team out there that they can.

Unlike you, I see the IMPACT that a quality 25th man can have on a team. Also, how can you say that Greg Norton is the 25th man…………when he is Bobby’s number 1 pinch hitting option off the bench? He plays virtually EVERY GAME. While David Ross is important as a back-up catcher……..there are times where he will go 2 weeks between games. Kris Medlen and Boone Logan, can go a week between appearances.

Actually I thought Loaf looked rather energetic, taking the long route out in LF to turn a single into a double for Blake. Despite his best efforts, the ball somehow found him.

The real loaf is ashamed to post anymore lest people think it’s the same as whoever that is.

I haven’t been on the blog these past few days and I’m just wandering if there has been any comment from Garrett Anderson surrounding the trade. He sure has looked bad the last two games after being on a tear. I still like him and don’t think people on here give him the respect he deserves.

That’s hilarious. If you respected him you wouldn’t think for a minute that his former Angels teammate being traded would have any effect on his play.

There you go Mike. (I started writing this a while ago)

Gonzo has gone from a dominant closer to a reliable back end guy. I can’t get over the fact that they have just been abused by Bobby this year.

You know, if I had a kid I would forbid him from wearing anything bearing Manny Ramirez’s name on it. I tend to go back and forth on the whole steroids thing. Bud Selig lacks any kind of leadership ability or decisiveness. Baseball has allowed it to happen, the fans, whether they knew about it or not, allowed it to happen and everybody got wrapped up in it.

But the more that comes out, the more disgusted I am by it all. Manny is a disgrace to the game. It’s so obvious he’s on steroids, it makes me sick. People should be ashamed of themselves for rooting for him.

And that’s all I have to say about that!

Paul-

It’s obvious you’re bitter. Like splitting hairs with Carroll about the “nature” of Norton’s recent hits. The dude has the go-ahead RBI, and yet you STILL won’t give it a rest. We all know you hate him. We get that. Yet everyday, here you are with the Anti-Cox, anti-Moylan, anti-Norton comments. It’s ok to have an opinion. But the frequency with which you voice those opinions makes you seem like a bitter, bitter person. And for the record, David Ross is 0-for-3 with 3 Ks. How’s that for expectations?

CrimeDog………….David Ross, before that double there, was having a tough day. However, I see no need to “rip” him because he has played a pretty good back-up catcher role for the Braves. Dude hasnt played in over a week. He was bound to have a rough day.

Also, you have yet to see me “rip” Nate McLouth. He has had some rough stretches in the past month. Again, he has produced for the Braves this year, he’s been playing every game, plus he can contribute in other ways when he doesnt get a hit (like draw a walk, steal a base, move a runner over, etc.).

I am simply critical of those that I dont feel should be on the team. I offer praise, support and patience for those I deem worthy of being on the team (what I mean by “worthy” is their overall body of work…..and…….where they are at in their careers).

I was missing early today because I went to pick up rent and then to a local fair type of thing. At the fair the police department was doing a K-9 unit demonstration with about 7 dogs. It was pretty cool. The one cop was the “bad guy” and the dogs attacked him….and the dogs were finding drugs and explosives. It was interesting because the one dog found a gram of heroine in a baggy that was buried in a big tupperware case of coffee in the trunk of a car….and the trunk was closed. That is awesome. Another thing that was cool was that the dog was able to get out of the car and protect the officer during “an arrest” when the “bad guy” attacked the officer. The dog hit a button to let himself out of the car!!! That was amazing.
