If we are worried about super two, then we are a cheap A$$ team.

No, we are a fiscally responsible team. Besides, I’d sure like to effectively have 7 seasons of a productive Heyward instead of six.

Having Prado batting 2nd means a lot to this line-up. Having Escobar puts even more stress on the opposing pitcher when he is batting 5th or 6th.

Getting Infante back will allow Bobby Cox, should he choose to, to load up the line-up with lefties or righties. Diaz/Garret in left……Infante/Church in right. When Infante comes back, if Bobby really wanted to load up against the lefties, then Frank Wren needs to demote Norton and call up Brooks Conrad. Against lefties, Conrad can play 2nd, Prado first, Diaz in left and Infante in right. That would leave only 2 lefties (McLouth and McCann) hitting against lefties. Against righties, the Braves could load up a line-up with Martin Prado being the only righty.

But the above moves are dependent on Infante getting healthy and Brooks Conrad being called up.

Where did the Braves of a week and a half ago, go?

Running themselves right out of innings.

I don’t like games on Fox or ESPN. They just feel completely different. That game against Lincecum I could just tell we were going to beat him.

Those games in Milwaukee were badass, they were perfectly in sync. And then just like that, they give you nothing.

I don’t get it.

D-Lo Is getting Slapped…Time for the Blow-pen to get Busy…!

Steve from OH

But it isn’t our choice–he has to agree to it too. As for calling him up this year–he might be productive, sure, but he’s bound to be waaay more productive in 2016 than 2009, wouldn’t you agree? I want thatHeyward, not a Heyward a month removed from A ball with uncertain production prospects.

curtis jones

Yeah, but Lowe is paid way, way above “average.” He’s making ace money, but not earning it. I fully expect him to pass out on the mound today. After all it’s 84 degrees.

Everyone wants Heyward to spend time in Triple A. Well Diory Hernandez hit .355 in Triple A. Canizares hit well their too. Look at Andy Marte’s numbers. They haven’t hit ML pitching. Heyward is hitting .430 for about 100 at bats with tons of extra base hits and more walks than K’s. He is a SPECIAL TALENT.

Lowe pats Furcal nor Kemp on the back as he walks off the mound…I think he misses those guys and Torre. Maybe they could trade Derek for some prospects, don’t even have to be top prospects, just trade him for a guy or two and a lot of cash in the offseason.
