CHIPPER on the fist bump: “Shocking. But it kind of makes sense, [considering] how the ebb and flow of the way the game was called.”

“Never seen it before in my 16 years. [Players and umpires] exchange banter all the time, but never a handshake or a fist bump. I guess Baker thought he deserved a hand shake.”

STOP IT!

Prado HAS NOT BEEN TRADED! Oliver is a known Met supporter who was just trying to clog our blog tonight with this BS trade. I listen to XM and can assure you that no such trade announcement was ever made. If a trade was made, some media outlet somewhere in the world would have mentioned it by now, none have. And it would be a stupid trade that would never realistically happen in the first place, so common sense tells you it’s probably not true. It’s just a Mutt screwing with you, let it die.

I repeat, THERE IS NO PRADO FOR BELL TRADE, IT DOESN’T EXIST.

Braves thought ump Jerry Meals’ strike zone Tuesday was as inconsistent or worse than Hohn’s.

“The last two games’ performance by the officials is something that makes you sit back and wonder,” Jones said. “And as a player, it makes you not want to play when that stuff happens. Because you don’t have a chance.”

Mercy…I know injuries are part of the game but….I don’t believe Prado had anything BUT his ankle stickin’ out from behind that “protective” fence…and even THAT was exposed for only a second or two…I’d like to know the odds of that happening…

It’s amazing that a player can SUCK for the first half of the season, get sent to the minors on a rehab assignment, come back and go 4 for 5 and then get inserted into the #2 spot of the order.

Still, I’ll reserve judgment until after the game is over with as far as Kelly batting in the 2 hole is concerned.

Slugger

Prado was playing well for a couple of weeks but lately he’s been slumping and hitting into a ton of key DPs like last night with runners on 1st and 3rd and 1 out, he hit into the inning ending DP. Prado’s a very nice utility player but Infante can easily take his place and we’d be getting a true closer.

Yeah I often give credibility to the ideas of a guy whose brain has been damaged by recreational drug use.

I prefer to give “brain-damaged” folks credibiity as opposed to “no-brained” folks like yourself. I’ll ask you again–what gives you the authority to dismiss an opinion like that? And what gives you the impunity to be a moral judge against what Lew does for a living. A day’s work is a day’s work, dude. Quite frankly, how dare you look down on someone else’s occupation? Is what you do for a living really that much better and more “honorable?” I don’t say this much, but you truly are a f’ing jackass.

dogs-been doing just that for ten years-I’m diabetic. Don’t eat white carbs, soda, sugar or any other carb except green veggies and whole grains-It’s how I got the blood sugar under control.

However, I gained over a 100 pounds in two years AFTER they got the blood sugar under control (I weighed 190 when this all started). I’m taking 5 separate medications that list weight gain as a side effect. THAT’S the little thing they DON’T tell you.

Hate to tell Robert, but I haven’t had a Twinky for decades. Besides, nothing he can say about my weight is anything I haven’t head before from much more intelligent people than him. Let him rant on. He’s making a much bigger fool of himself than he can hope to make of me.

The Braves’ Aug. 16 home game against Philadephia has been changed to an 8:05 p.m. start to accommodate ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. It had been scheduled to start at 1:35 p.m.

The Sunday night ESPN games suck if you are in from out of town. A long drive back to South Georgia after an 8pm game vs a 135 game.

There is some debate about memory, but in terms of high-level reasoning activities, you’re off-base from what I gathered, never mind your claim that it “destroys your brain.” The most significant adverse effects are likely pulmonary.
