Outside of a pitcher and Ross, there was no one else available to hit who is supposedly available tonight except for Norton, folks. Or would you rather have Ross or a pitcher PH so you can nail Cox for that?
Braves lose again in the bottom of the ninth. Go figure! See you guys next year.
I hope this doesn’t come down to needing a call on check swing third strike by a lefthanded batter. We won’t get any favors from Mr. (adult film) Stache.
Oh, my, Kelly….
GREG NORTON and CORKY MILLER=Separated at birth
Rob from SC
I hate Kelly Johnson
There’s your season!
unreal. that is textbook bad news bears.
Wow… I wish I could say I was surprised…
Martin… We need you!
Trade His ASS NOW!!!!
There’s the Kelly Johnson we all know!!
Please just release KJ, he cant field or hit. He is WORTHLESS!
G-Damnit. f–k Kelly Johnson
Yea KJ really deserves to be back in Atlanta…… NOT!
There’s our boy Kelley!!!!!
Another one of Bobby’s boys Fs up again
Vazquez was solid – again. Gonzo couldn’t hold ‘em – again. Plain sad.
July 30th, 200910:00 pm
O boy. I’m sure people will blame Bobby for this somehow.
SHYT SHYT SHYT
Jimmy Joe Jimbob
booby’s look from the dugout says it all …. this season is over
Bush league fielding there
Nice play kj. the norton of defense
What a great play,
we can always find a way to look like little leaguers. way to earn your way back to the big leagues KJ.
That picture of bobby says it all, once he bobbled should have just gone to 1st.
welcome back Kelly…we’ve been missing those plays.
Playing around with the runner and Moylan loses focus on the hitter
We don’t DESERVE to win this !!!
there’s our Kelly!
4th place here we come.
Kelly Freakin Johnson… we hardly knew ye…
There Goes KJ’s Error of the year like he did against Philly last year…!
Damn that crap looked like Sunny Lister at Parkview.
I hate Kelly Johnson’s guts.
I hate him. I don’t care about his hitting, he’s an error waiting to happen.
His defense is the problem. I could care less about whether or not he strikes out ten times in two days.
Blame it all on Kelly for all I care.
Huh? diory and norton strike out in the ninth of a tie game while brooks and hayward are in the minors… Time to sell!! and kj makes an error… this is why the Braves suck!
That is 4 outs already
For the record, (you know… since I’m clueless?), if the Braves lose tonight (and they will because of KJ’s and Diory’s defense), they will be 6-6 in Javier’s starts following a loss.
What a “stopper”. Where can we find another. I’m sure Ozzie Guillen would LOVE to have him back (eyes rolling).
Marc from FL
And later Paul will reflect on this and blame it on Moylan. Well I don’t know, he hates KJ enough to maybe keep this one on his shoulders.
we bench prado for that garbage….. bobby cox needs to go as well does frank wren.. im sick of watching kelly johnson just screw up every routine play . that should of been an inning ending double play. they get NO ONE…
July 30th, 200910:01 pm
Way to go KJ, unf***inbelievable……. Where is Brooks Conrad..
What does the Lemer think of this scrub..
God he is a scrub….
we need a strike out pitcher right now. who is in the bullpen?
Moylan is on too, what a shame Johnson sucks so bad
Now, that is why I am SO DOWN on Kelly Johnson. Talk about “streaky”……….dude goes from starting his return to the Majors with a 5 for 6 streak………to 0 for 4 tonight with a potentially costly error. From an inning ending double play to perhaps a loss?
njbraves……..I dont see you. What do you have to say about Kelly now?
We Deserve To Lose This Game…!!!
F-You Kelly. Good luck sucking ass with Chuck James on construction sites this offseason. WTF??????
The good news is that Number 2 will be gone soon its funny that his number is 2 because he plays like someone just went number 2.
we are done. moylan has met his quota on ground balls per inning. all thats left are walks and deep shots to the gap.
OK, Peter, we liked that ground ball. Now do it again. We promise we won’t screw up this time.
people please…. This is the reason that the ATL is known as one of the worst sports towns in the country… No need to bash.. FW has done well so far. I mean in May, did any of you actually look at this roster and say, we got a damn good team. Probably not. We are where we should be in the standings with this roster. Just look what KJ just did as I type this.. This is not a contending roster. Simple as that. With all that said, this is my team and I’ll continue to root for them no matter how atrocious they play.
Kelly Johnson is a good guy and is talented, but I still think he’s pressing and needs a fresh start just as Francoeur apparently needed.
My bad, guys!!!! They got help from our stellar 2nd baseman. Thanks Kelly! 0′fer at the plate and an 0′fer in the field
This team gives you the false sense of “hey, we may be contenders!”
Then, they start doing crap like this…
Please get rid of Moylan and Johnson. They are killing us.
July 30th, 200910:02 pm
Amazing….Atlanta starts the season really well, tied for first with the Fish at 5-1, and promptly get swept… Braves play good ball for a month, gain a lot of ground in the WC, go up against the Fish again…and….
kelly johnson equals roger dorn!!!!!!
Norton is The Manchurian Pinch-Hitter!
bobby and his stupid favorites and 1944 right/lefty crap has driven this team to losersville once again!
JEFF – Prado isn’t playing cause he’s injured, try to keep up.
holy nuts its gload again
Blame Wren and BC for putting crap players on the team.
Thank you MOYLAN
NOW I’m SURPRISED!!
it’s looks inevitable at this point
they’re putting it on a platter and the Fish are getting ready to accept
“Get in there Frank and sell, sell, sell . . .”
Steve from OH
Peter Moylan was really good tonight.
Everytime a ball is hit to KJ I hold my breath.
Alright, Kelly. Nice turn.
Like I said before KJ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD I don’t know what to say anymore…….Eff you KJ. Im serious the offense started playing poorly as soon as his worthless, useless, AAA a$$ came back up.
Kelly Johnson, Golden Glove…. 1986 Little League World Series.
great turn KJ
go kelly !!! go kelly!!! go kelly!!!! you’re AWFUL
July 30th, 200910:03 pm
Man We Got lucky!, Nice DP…Finally!!!
WOW. way to go moylan. good work. sit back down, gload, you toolbox.
KJ redeemed himself with that turn. Not get a hit top of the order.
tomahawkin. thanks for reminding me of the KJ’s error against the phillies. never bounced back from that loss. Is KJ a Braves killer?
But I do LOVE when PETER Moylan gets THREE double PLAY balls in ONE inning. HE’S so good in CRUCIAL situations.
Thanks Chip! We needed that BIG TIME!!
My boy Kelly….with the quick turn…and now…KJ will show you some “magic”… with that thunder stick of his !!
That double play is absolutely Bobby Cox’s fault! Way to screw up the Fish winning the game guys!!!
Top of the order….in the words of the great Harry Caray: “Let’s get some runs!”
That KJ sure can turn a DP, can’t he!
Brooks Conrad must be knocking back at good cold beer and laughing his head off.
What a great turn by Kelly Johnson at 2B. He just kept us in the game after botching the previous play.
can i ask anyone why prado and escobar are not playing? i just got home from my tournament game where my boys turned 3 double plays tonight.. and made it look easy..
July 30th, 200910:04 pm
Starting to get a bad feeling here!!!
If Kotch could just hit like he fields his position
rabiddawg said it. if you’re crying for frank wren’s head, you’ve completely lost the plot.
Come on people!?! We’re good enough to stand pat… I mean isnt that quite obvious?
Freakin Wren is gonna get booed out of Turner Field tomorrow night if something is not done by tomorrow evening…
We need Norton, diory, kj put on the Papi juice STAT!
You know whats funny is that the Marlins are described as the more inexperienced team but they are putting together better at bats than us tonight.
BC has got to go. Of course I have been saying this for 3 years now.
July 30th, 200910:05 pm
My stream is behind ha ha….Still I’m done with KJ
Prado hurt himself in batting practice and Yunel was hit by a pitch
I’m not going to say that I would have made that play.
I’ll say that I would have done the exact same thing, because I would have been scared and I would have rushed it and probably screwed it up too. Only I don’t make a million dollars a year and go to Italy with my wife… in October.
If we can’t win when we give them thirteen outs in an inning, well I don’t know what.
Fourth place and fading… Goshdarnit Wren, get off your ass and do something!
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
