Agreed, but I will bsh him for leaving Vasquerz in after giving up a baserunner/home run in the 8th. He came to the rescue two batters too late – puts Gonzalez into the game with a man on instead of the bases empty, which is two different scenarios entirely
If Cox takes Vasquez out after the home rrun , it stays a 3-2 ballgame

kotchman had an error the other night. unless they changed it after the fact. He should have had one earlier in the year when he did run to first base to tag a man out. he waited on the pitcher and the guy was safe. so…kotchman has had errors. they may be holding out on him because of his rep. but the guy has made some bone headed plays.

Are you frickin kidding me??? He got three runs of support, and couldn’t hold it. And couldn’t get out of the 7th inning. ENOUGH with the pitty party for Javier Vazquez.
HE gave up the HR to Ross, and HE gave up the walk (that ended up scoring).
Javier Vazquez NOT being a stopper robbed this team of a win. Not the team robbing him. I’m not saying he hasn’t been robbed before. He has.
But not tonight against a team we’re chasing in the wild card hunt and in a MUST WIN situation. Time to man up and bring your A game.

I have no sympathy for Bennett. At a game earlier this season I watched him walk buy a bunch of kids asking for autographs over an hour before the game (they make people leave the designated autograph area when it gets under one hour before the first pitch) – he told the kids he would be back after he warmed up a little and then laughed. He knew full well that the kids would be cleared out.
WIth his being granted free agency, do the Braves have to pay him anything DOB?
