Jerry Meals screwed it up plain and simple in my opinion. All night those pitches were strikes for both sides, but for Soriano, it’s not.

So is that now the worst loss of the year? Probably.
That didn’t just happen did it? It would have been better had we not taken a lead.
That is not good. Over just like that. One of the best wins of the year and we lost. I’m sure they’re 13 fans enjoyed it.

that is just gay…. you just hope we can bounce back and take the next two. soriano was bound to blow one eventually. it was going to happen sooner rather than later because of the work load over the entire season, but it still hurts. they have their ace going tomorrow and the braves better come ready for a battle.
we just cant let this loss turn into a long losing skid. we have to win tomorrow. its that simple.

Cox is a MORON. Gload is a very good hitter. You had two guys up after Gload who he could have knocked the bat out of their hands. Coghlin and Bonafacio DO NOT get around on Soriano.
I’ll take it, but you can tell I’m objective enough to know we did not deserve it.
Thank You Bobby!! Tough loss guys. i have empathy whenever a game is lost like that. Teams i have followed have done that many times.

That’s a shame. Soriano threw 2 strikes to Ross that weren’t called and fell behind on the pinch hitter when the ump didn’t call the 1st strike to him. What hurt the most though is that play by Anderson. 2 runs scored on that, not to mention Chipper and Mac striking out with runners at 1st and 2nd 1 out. Oh well, lets get em tomorrow.

CANNOT afford to lose games like that no matter how good you have been playing…those kinds of losses can turn momentum against you
the Phillies would not have lost that game and right now that is the diffrence…
had a chance to be 2 games behind the ROCKIES and maybe 6 behind hte Phillies and that all goes on ONE PITCH
