Neither channelsurfing or p2p4u are working.
July 24th, 20098:19 pm
Well, we have to remain optimistic. Hell, I do to maintain my sanity. On rare occasions when I feel like being a negative Nelly, I try my best to not post, even though sometimes I let some negative comments slip every now and then.
If we win tonight, will that change your bleak outlook? If we win the series, will that change your outlook, or if we rattle off a streak like Philly just did, would that still change your outlook?
Smile, man, it’s baseball. This isn’t a college calculus blog.
It’s hard to skip posts from someone when they have a post every other one. But, I’m doing it because I can’t stand when someone is posting just to “hear” themself “talk”.
July 24th, 20098:20 pm
Damn that Braun. I like him but not when he’s playing us.
Um can Joe and Boog stop talking about the HR?
and yes, I let some anti Bobby venom spew on Bradley’s blog earlier today..
July 24th, 20098:21 pm
“I firmly believe it’ll be a 5 for 1 type MARK TEXIERA type deal for ROY HALLADAY.”
It has to be, right?”"
for sopme reaso there isnt any baseball games on that site or channelsurfing.net
Every time the brewers announcer talk about the “PigglyWiggly Scouting Report”, I have to chuckle.
July 24th, 20098:22 pm
Have I mentioned how much I like this fat b*st*rd fielder?
Didn’t think so.
Nova Scotia Steve
I get nervous when this man swings
Good job Javy!
Fielder: You suck!
Javy just gets it done.
Way to go Javy!!!!
Capt Caveman……….well, if your “vast” experience has given you “an edge” over me, then you will be proven right by the end of the season………RIGHT?
If I’m such a “tool” as you say I am…….then I will be TOTALLY wrong when it comes to Greg Norton continuing to SUCK…….I’ll be wrong about Kelly Johnson continuing to SUCK………I’ll be wrong about Peter Moylan, Jeff Bennett, and Buddy Carlyle continuing to SUCK…….and I’ll be wrong about the Braves being out of it by mid-August…………RIGHT?
If you are right and I am wrong………..then the team record and the stats of those guys I called BUMS…….will show that I am wrong at the end of the year.
So channelsurfing and p2p4u is all we got?
Sit your fat arrogant a$$ down son!
Prince Got Served!!! Nice
July 24th, 20098:23 pm
Wow, well done Javy.
At least he took a great cut.
July 24th, 20098:24 pm
Ugh….I can’t stand that commercial where everyone’s doing off key and awkward tomahawk chops
Braves73……….damn, you are bringing back some bad flashbacks with your 8:18pm posting.
Having a Braves ring tone has never occurred to me. Hmm.
Oh…I am dropping the “(Cleveland)” definition from my name.
Miller Park is a nice field
I can’t get either feed to work, Can someone help me?
July 24th, 20098:25 pm
Go ahead Esco! Keep it going.
Love it when Escobar hits it to right field!
I actually DO like Ryan Braun….wish we had ‘im.
Here we go again. Yunel!
Cleanup! Cleanup! Cleanup!
Capt, i just asked a direct question and got a direct answer. not a lot of room for finding out at what point they might have had interest and lost.
those were a pair of well-placed 94 mph fastballs that Vazquez just made Fielder look human on, and leave Braun at third…..and of course, the hitting machine singles to lead off the next inning.
idk those are the only 2 sites i could watch games on…. somthing about the MLB has changed a code or somthing is preventing games from being shown now….. so i gotta use Gameday
To quote that 70’s show, “Prince Fielder is a PigglyWiggly GOD!!!”
Capt Caveman……….I guess I was wrong about Yunel Escobar too?
July 24th, 20098:26 pm
the PA announcer here is calling him Matt Deee-az. that bugs
yeah jason…I checked to see if that link worked…but I guess it doesn’t….but it did for me the other day…
Sorry dude I thought that worked
I’m watching on MLBTV
July 24th, 20098:27 pm
Even I know it’s Die Azz not Dee az

July 24th, 20098:28 pm
C’mon Kotch…Fly ball dude….fly ball
Way to work it Matty D.
Great job of Diaz in that rundown so the run scored.
July 24th, 20098:29 pm
Fantastic job, Matty!
Nicely done by MattE to get that run home
Very smart baserunning my Diaz to make sure the run scored
Fail. good work Matt, though, getting the run in.
Rob from SC
good baserunning by Diaz
Good base running Diaz, at least the run scored.
Decent Baserunning there. We get 1 at least…
Not sexy but 1 to 0 none the less….
Mcgahee will hit a home run
Someone posted a ustream link the other day, with a password, but I can not find anything on there… Ustream worked the day the the other two stopped working.
July 24th, 20098:30 pm
Heyward RBI 2B
Nova Scotia Steve, I got the MLB ticket for free all the wat up until Lastnight. I am not going to pay that money for what’s left in the season.
Paul , first off I wasn’t commenting on who sucks and who doesn’t. I was referring to your constant ongoing saga against Bobby’s managing.
As for players, the stats speak for themselves, and that’s where I will leave it. As for managing their are so many things that go into it that you would never know. Like who is healthy and who is not, which players are sick or under the weather, which starter is pitching thru pain, etc.etc. These are things that are kept private in the clubhouse so don’t act like you are making your predictions with 100 percent of the facts. Only the Braves have that info.
I have yet to this day known any “fantasy league fanatic” who actually knew a lot about the way “real” baseball is played or managed.
Now you’ve said your peace on this subject ( and just about everything else ) so find another topic or shuttit !!!! A’ight ?
Necromancer…………a team can overcome some bad managerial moves (particularly in blowouts where the offense is putting up a bunch of runs and the starting pitching is going deep enough to make the bullpen irrelevant).
However, the Braves arent going to win every game 9-2. Our offense will eventually fall down to earth and we will HAVE to win games like we should have won yesterday IF the Braves are going to make a run to the play-offs. In close ball games is where a manager pulling the RIGHT BUTTONS is essential. Bad managing can kill a team’s momentum.
If the Braves are still in this by mid-August, I’ll re-evaluate my prognosis. Again, I hope that I am wrong.
July 24th, 20098:31 pm
No links? anyone?
positively NO DEBATE who the best leadoff hitter in the history of baseball is
I know! I know! Josh Anderson! Coach taught me that.
Heyward doubles in a run and is two for three. Freeman is two for two with a walk.
Professional catch there man
Loaf-alicious almost smiled there.
July 24th, 20098:32 pm
Face it, your just a frustrated fantasy league player with an overblown ego and the ability to type like a girl. Other than that you basically serve no purpose here except for comic relief.Capt Caveman
July 24th, 2009
Type like a girl? lmao
Paul Lentz — I liked this part of the Bowman article in particular.
Who is that Wise guy? If I’ve told this story before, I apologize. But with his tremendous catch to preserve Mark Buehrle’s perfect game on Thursday afternoon, Dewayne Wise produced the reminder of the first day that I saw him during Spring Training in 2004.
As we were standing in the middle of the clubhouse just shooting the breeze with Cox, Wise, a non-roster invitee who had previously been in the Blue Jays system, approached his new manager to introduce himself.
And staying true to his ability to make all of his players feel like they’re wanted and important, Cox responded with a firm handshake, a smile and, “Hey I’ve heard a lot about you, it’s great to have you here.”
Then as Wise walked away, Cox asked, “Who was that?”
cabravesfan – did you enjoy the pre-game show?
Base hit Freeman
Loafy will smile…one day! Yes, he will.
July 24th, 20098:33 pm
Man, is Garret a professional player or what
I saw on Mlb trade rumors it was thought that maybe Holliday could be resigned…I don’t see this happening at all. BorASS wouldn’t let it go down that why
July 24th, 20098:34 pm
But so true…professionally speaking
July 24th, 20098:36 pm
Yo Bat Masterson — Dude, I was LMFAO while I was typing that. I was wondering if anybody else was going to bust a gut when they read it. AAHHH YEAH , Good Times on the ole’ blog!!
I hope by then, you’ll be asking me how you want your crow cooked.
In the mean time…I’m just going to take this season one game at a time. I suggest you try that. You might cut down on your ulcers….
ok lets get the bats goin!
July 24th, 20098:37 pm
We get to root for the Mets tonight… yeah.
Yawn… 1-2-3 for Javy. Man at work.
“Mcgahee will hit a home run”- Brew Crew
Willis McGahee?????? O you must mean Casey McGehee….
Matt Diaz, even with his sometimes wild swings at the plate, is a gamer. Great base running at in the top of the 2nd. I really feel that getting him more at-bats is the key to him establishing more consistency at the plate.
Meanwhile, Vazquez is dealing it tonight. I love to see him pitch. Continues to be a GREAT trade by Frank Wren.
July 24th, 20098:38 pm
The Loaf is the epitome of a professional player.
He makes it look so easy….;P
Rob from SC @ 8:30–
July 24th, 20098:39 pm
OK I can’t wait to see who listens to Nickleback.
Now, when we first traded to get Javy, I was opposed.
I have been pleasantly surprised….
July 24th, 20098:40 pm
Keep up the good work Capt Caveman, I type like a chicken( hunt and peck). That is why I don’t post much.
lucky for you swearing is not approved on the blog!
July 24th, 20098:41 pm
Javy! Javy! Swing that bat.
Javy with the hit!
Dayum..look at Javy!

Works the count and doubles! Hey oh!
There We Go Javy…Lets Go Offense!
Be a hitter Javy!
July 24th, 2009
He can pitch, he can hit, what CAN’T this guy do?
