Big Surprise. Greg “Mr. Now I’m 6 for 48″ Norton whiffs right through a fast ball right down the middle. Dude said, “I’m not going to walk your sorry A$$, hit this if you can”, lol.
Doesn’t look fun…Weird, though, how it happens to catchers “a lot”, and the trainer hardly ever comes out, but they usually come out for the umps. – McFann :Ô:
We’re a lot tougher than umps. We’re used to getting banged around.
While I am no fan of Greg Norton, from what I understand, Bobby’s “reasoning” for keeping Norton on the roster is that Norton has power. Well if that is the case, why not use Kelly Johnson to lead off the inning. If he gets lucky and gets on, then Nate would be the tying run.
Now, I dont think that Norton will hit any homers for us this year However, I’m just trying to “think like Bobby” here. Why use your “pinch hitting home run threat” with no one on base and down by 2?
How are use guys dooing tonight. I have not got much to say. Someone said earlier this is the type of game you got to fight your way back into. Would be nice to hit the sack early tonight
I love to fish that skinny water, I caught a 48 inch 20 lb snook down there once on an ultra light 6 lb test, no way I should have been able to land him. Everybody on the boat was freaking out, thought it might be a line class record, but we never checked and I did not care, it was just fun to me. Site casting for bone fish would be a blast, always wanted to try it.
I don’t know when I will get to come back down there, the construction industry collapse has cramped my style.
I seriously doubt that the Braves are going to call up Jason Heyward, unless a trade is made involving our outfielders or some injuries occurred. With Infante coming back in a few weeks, it anything we will have an abundance of outfielders.
Depending on what the Braves do in free agency or the trade market in the off season, dont expect Heyward up until June of 2010 at the earliest.
“The ESPN Play by play page says that the average IQ of Braves fans is 84. After reading this board for years, I think they are way too optimistic. – Steve from OH”
ok if this is really you steve, and not someone stealing your name, i have to ask which fanbase is the lowest on average IQ? I have a few guesses, but I’d love to know.
