We Got 9 Gawd Damn Hits and only 2 runs, WTF….?
This offense is so streaky!!!
July 25th, 20099:26 pm
Excellent job on Tommy’s part. It’s not like he got rocked. Buncha dribblers.
Mixxo I don’t believe I’ve ever been clocked in the middle of the mask by a FB.
Doesn’t look fun…Weird, though, how it happens to catchers “a lot”, and the trainer hardly ever comes out, but they usually come out for the umps.
July 25th, 20099:27 pm
GAWD, Norton blows!
Can we release Norton already? Horrible :-/
norton continues to show people why hes on the roster.
does norton EVER make contact?
Too bad they don’t have a “If Greg Norton strikes out this inning…” promotion
July 25th, 20099:28 pm
Norton got a hit yesterday. He’s bought himself at least another week
Big Surprise. Greg “Mr. Now I’m 6 for 48″ Norton whiffs right through a fast ball right down the middle. Dude said, “I’m not going to walk your sorry A$$, hit this if you can”, lol.
July 25th, 20099:29 pm
Oh They are playing Vanilla Ice! WOW!
Wheres all the bloggers who said the game wasnt over in the 5th inning?
Doesn’t look fun…Weird, though, how it happens to catchers “a lot”, and the trainer hardly ever comes out, but they usually come out for the umps. – McFann :Ô:
We’re a lot tougher than umps. We’re used to getting banged around.
Nova Scotia Steve
Yes we need a baserunner…c’mon Prado…just a base hit…just a base hit…
LaRoach hit a two-run bomb for the Red Sox – if anyone cares
July 25th, 20099:30 pm
Great outing by Hanson, especially considering that he is sick. Just no run support.
I’m not sure whether I’m glad to see Gallardo sit, or pissed that he’s gone.
Hey, Nick. You’re a douche. Game isn’t over. Tying run coming to plate.
Your momma said it’s bed time. See ya.
July 25th, 20099:31 pm
ok we got 5 outs to get 3 runs
Guy pitched a wail of a game against our hot bats. Gotta give it to him.
Now lets score some runs !!!
July 25th, 20099:32 pm
Can we get Kotsay yet?
I hate how in these close games the other team always gets some little cheap run.
Ain’t over yet.
As Much As I hate John Rocker, No one can run like him out of the pen!
July 25th, 20099:33 pm
I forgot these guys has Hoffman – no big deal
Looks like Coffey needs to do some more sprints. That dude is fat.
WTF was that? Damn big boy, settle down.
While I am no fan of Greg Norton, from what I understand, Bobby’s “reasoning” for keeping Norton on the roster is that Norton has power. Well if that is the case, why not use Kelly Johnson to lead off the inning. If he gets lucky and gets on, then Nate would be the tying run.
Now, I dont think that Norton will hit any homers for us this year However, I’m just trying to “think like Bobby” here. Why use your “pinch hitting home run threat” with no one on base and down by 2?
Dude looks like the love child of Corky and Wickman.
July 25th, 20099:34 pm
Why Do we need Kotsay when most smart braves fans know that Infante will be coming back…? Come On People?
July 25th, 2009
MurphyRules – your a gullable idiot. Your mom said you can stay up all night because shes staying at my place tonight…douche!
July 25th, 20099:35 pm
C’mon Martin…. be a hitter!
Steve from OH
July 25th, 20099:36 pm
Yep, Nick is definitely Unknown and is, as always, and idiot.
How Martin miss that pitch…man that was up
Waiting for someone to post as me in 3…2…1…
July 25th, 20099:37 pm
How are use guys dooing tonight. I have not got much to say. Someone said earlier this is the type of game you got to fight your way back into. Would be nice to hit the sack early tonight
because I like Kotsay?
He battlin’ !
July 25th, 20099:38 pm
Oh my that got a lot accomplished didn’t it?
Steve, your a little tard, shut your mouth and watch the game.
cabravesfan – too tired to argue – and leaving computer activity for now.
"Steve from OH"
Remember when you wanted the Chipster up in this situation?
Thanks Key Largo, you can send his contact information to email@example.com
I love to fish that skinny water, I caught a 48 inch 20 lb snook down there once on an ultra light 6 lb test, no way I should have been able to land him. Everybody on the boat was freaking out, thought it might be a line class record, but we never checked and I did not care, it was just fun to me. Site casting for bone fish would be a blast, always wanted to try it.
I don’t know when I will get to come back down there, the construction industry collapse has cramped my style.
July 25th, 20099:39 pm
How big would a blast be here?
Nick, what are you 12? Please tell your sixth-grade teacher to tell you the difference between your and you’re and they’re and their.
I hate douchebags!
Greg Norton is 100% Pure Evil
Enough of Norton! UNCLE!
your a little tard
Is our school system really this bad? Learn to spell, kid.
Gutty performance by Hanson, tonight. This will be a tough one to lose, if the Braves bats remain silent.
Steve From OH
Man this whole team sux. We need to start Kelly and Norton and Ross now.
Lets see on how many pitches does Chip strikes out this time..
July 25th, 20099:40 pm
Jal at least three no K
if hoffman pitches tonight, hope he’s got a blown save in him
This team as no balls. BALLGAME!
Coffey looks a little like Rod Beck…and no that is not a compliment.
Norton is worth his weight in sh?t.
I take that back, he’s not.
July 25th, 20099:41 pm
“Steve, your a little tard, shut your mouth and watch the game.- Nick”
A few corrections. 1. Steve can’t watch the game as it end unexpectedly in the 6th inning. 2. It’s “you’re”.
I think Atlanta has fair half decent against Hoffman in the past
You Win Some, Ya Lose Some
Gallardo is a good pitcher…
Nuff Respect to Big Red However, for Pitching Sick!
I blame this game to this point on Greg Norton…
July 25th, 20099:42 pm
Leave Steve from OH alone, hes my BlTCH!
Freakin’ storm here keeps knocking my DirecTV out.
Mixxo We’re a lot tougher than umps. We’re used to getting banged around.
Dangit…I just know the Bears are gonna bring in a lefty in the ninth…
Don’t give them anything here.
Hoffman doesn’t scare me for a second.
Brian and GA need to get on for Yunel. Duh.
I blame Kelly and Francoeur.
July 25th, 20099:43 pm
“”A few corrections. 1. Steve can’t watch the game as it end unexpectedly in the 6th inning. 2. It’s “you’re”.”"
It’s also “ended”
That should be sight casting, lol
What a great team… Beaten by a Curveball on the outside corner…
I blame this game on Gallardo. Our guys look a little tired but that’s what nasty curves, FB hitting the black and a bad ump will do to players.
July 25th, 20099:44 pm
Your damn right Nova Scotia Steve.
Eric needs to do his job here.
Rob from SC
Cody Johnson has hit # 26
Yep, Unknown is definitely among us tonight folks…stealing names, being and idiot…classic.
That’s fair. You could also use a period.
We need to win this series tomorrow…barring a miracle come back in the 9th
The ESPN Play by play page says that the average IQ of Braves fans is 84. After reading this board for years, I think they are way too optimistic.
July 25th, 20099:45 pm
Give me a f’ing break ump.
Everybody needs to relax, Yovani Gallardo is an outstanding pitcher. Hanson pitched well tonight also.
But mostly Francoeur. With maybe a side of Chris Woodward.
July 25th, 2009
This WAS NOT posted by me.
July 25th, 20099:46 pm
I’ve found that it’s not necessary to steal names to be and idiot.
That ump is so bad that he just called 2 of the exact same pitches on the corner for a strike and a ball… he’s bad!
Jeff Bennett pitched for Gwinnett tonight and gave up 2 runs in 1 ip. He seems ready to me
July 25th, 20099:47 pm
Rob – any walks?
But mostly Francoeur. With maybe a side of Chris Woodward.
And a splash of Henry Blanco
Dangit…I just know the Bears are gonna bring in a lefty in the ninth… – McFann :Ô:
Nah, it’ll be Trevor Hoffman. Wicked change-up on that guy. We’ve hit him in the past though.
Do not walk this guy.
July 25th, 20099:48 pm
I seriously doubt that the Braves are going to call up Jason Heyward, unless a trade is made involving our outfielders or some injuries occurred. With Infante coming back in a few weeks, it anything we will have an abundance of outfielders.
Depending on what the Braves do in free agency or the trade market in the off season, dont expect Heyward up until June of 2010 at the earliest.
I think Shamus is a boy
The Phillies GM is on crack. The Blue Jays asked for Happ-Brown-Drabek, and Amaro countered with Carrasco and Donald.
I can only imagine J.P.’s response. Click!
“The ESPN Play by play page says that the average IQ of Braves fans is 84. After reading this board for years, I think they are way too optimistic. – Steve from OH”
ok if this is really you steve, and not someone stealing your name, i have to ask which fanbase is the lowest on average IQ? I have a few guesses, but I’d love to know.
July 25th, 20099:49 pm
1 walk for Bennett
Not really me, Zephyr. Won’t be posting again for a while to avoid ambiguity.
Back to back walks…yeah..no.
I like Logan a tad bit more than O’Flaherty. Logan has better “stuff”, but he does walk way to many hitters.
July 25th, 20099:50 pm
That wasn’t the real Steve. The hacker capitalized “From”
Anybody else smell 3-run tater right here for Hardy?
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
