Back east Ma’am….about 90 miles south of The Ted.
July 25th, 20098:25 pm
I will. Every. Last. Drop.
Nice try, Nolie
That is unfortunate
keylargo , I have a friend that has a house in ” Stilts Ville” in Biscayne Bay. Are you familiar with Stilts Ville?
July 25th, 20098:26 pm
cabravesfan – Read. My. Mind.
Nova Scotia Steve
C’mon Nate…we need ya…AGAIN
We got freakin Lieutenant Frank Drebin behind the plate tonight folks.
July 25th, 20098:27 pm
Heh, Vinings Jim.
I liked Boog’s line when they were revealing the trivia answer.
Boog: “Are you good with your answer”
Joe: “Yep, Birmingham Barons (or something)”
Boog: “Indianapolis Clowns? Cheated off the Facebook Page.”
I remember being so happy when I read the Jimmie Williams was a special instructor in spring training teaching bunting. Not many Braves learned much though.

July 25th, 20098:29 pm
mets doing us a favor and beating the astros. obviously, the rocks or giants are going to lose. let’s get a hard fought, big w tonight!
That must be up in the mainland in Miami. I don’t get up that far north much.
Indeed it ’tis c’fan, I like the cut of your jib.
Yovanni has been pretty filthy so far. We’ll get to ‘im though.
July 25th, 20098:30 pm
Love the attitude man!
This would be a big gusty win tonight…
don’t be bitter…not my fault you aren’t drinking tonight
July 25th, 20098:31 pm
Nice play by Lopez
Damn! Nice pick on his part though.
Damn bad luck for Prado there
wow lopez closed his eyes on that catch.
July 25th, 20098:32 pm
Damn nothing squirting through so far.
July 25th, 20098:33 pm
I like a guy that will serve me drinks when I am watching baseball (or football for that matter)
Wow…back to back posts with Mr. Green…
Nova Scotia Steve, thanks bro. and it would be a hard fought win gallardo is tough, but i just have a good feeling about tonight. i think we are going to pull it out somehow..
July 25th, 20098:34 pm
Ok is anyone else listening to the braves radio broadcast and getting tired of our broadcaster sounding like a brew crew fan. I know he worked with them last year but it is getting old
July 25th, 20098:35 pm
Well, hello Ms. McFann
Frank Drebin not given us anything this inning
July 25th, 20098:36 pm
Just FYI Jason Heyward is 2-3 today (so far) with a double he is now batting .429
Gallardo has got those strikes at the knees all night.
July 25th, 20098:37 pm
One of life’s great mysteries: How was Craig Counsell allowed to amass 5000 plate appearances in the majors with an 80 OPS+?
GET THIS OLD MAN OUT
July 25th, 20098:38 pm
Nova Scotia Steve,
Frank’s stalling. Khannnnnnnnn is gonna kill the queen after this inning!
cabravesfan – you could have slowed me down last night, but NOOO ! So, you bear a tiny bit of responsibility.
Yeah Key Largo it is. A house on stilts out in the bay. There used to me 60 or more but hurricanes wiped them out over the years, only 6 or seven left. I used to go there with some friends, load the boat with supplies, spend several days, fishing off the dock, bathing in the bay, sleeping on the deck under the stars with the lights from the city across the bay, man that was the life. The Feds took it over a few years ago, his lease expired with the state and that was that.
July 25th, 20098:39 pm
come on, big dp!
oops…didn’t realize the pitcher was up…will be hard to get a dp…
OH NO, Here comes BALLGAME!!!
Are we sure ESPN doesn’t own the umpires, much like MLB??? Maybe it’s ESPN that doesn’t want us to win… Boo 1-0…. dammit
July 25th, 20098:40 pm
“some people claim that there’s a woman to blame
And I know it’s my own damn fault.”
Way to jinx it Joe :-/
He drew Chipper in and it costs us.
Francoeur just hit a 3 run HR vs Houston
Thought that was dp ball. The Brewers are catching all the lucky breaks today.
July 25th, 20098:41 pm
Nolie – you read my mind
1-2-3 DP… c’mon…
Come on Red. What’s the problem
well, how do you like that? tommy gun gives up a single to the pitcher while frenchy is hitting a 3-run jack for the mutts and has 4 rbis…i figured i would throw frenchy in there as we all know a few others will.
Just FYI Jason Heyward is 2-3 today (so far) with a double he is now batting .429 (Shane)
just waitin’ for that “correction” to start. Guy will be hitting .200 for a month.
This could get ugly…
On a side note…pretty professional throw into the infield..not sure who it was tho
July 25th, 20098:42 pm
O’Flaherty up in the pen….hey, they said it right tonight..
Boone Logan’s up too
July 25th, 20098:43 pm
cabravesfan – turning my hero’s words against me – have you no decency? But you are right in the sentiment.
Got a break on that pitch.
Its unfair that Craig counsell still has a job and bloggers like us remain unsigned.
This game is over.
Little bloopin hits…
July 25th, 20098:44 pm
typical craig counsell rbi. another fluke play.
Just ss Joe Simpson said Hanson’s got nice command today, he gives up the hit, and then a 4 pitch walk. Thanks for Jinxing Hanson.
Unbelievable…Counsell is the luckiest player in the majors. No talent whatsoever..but he has a hit and an RBI tonight.
Sorry folks. Nothing going right for the Braves’ O, EVERYTHING goin right for the Brewers’ now. Doesn’t feel like our night right now
I’m not enjoying this game.
I still think Martin should have been bunting in the first after Nate’s leadoff single.
I hate this douchebag – Braun
Steve from OH
But we’ve only had half of our at-bats!
what happened there…all i see is that counsell grounded out to the pitcher…why no dp? obviously not watching the game…
nope, don’t count on this press box announcer. He just corrected himself that it’s Manny Acosta up, not logan. Maybe i should try my eyes instead of my ears.
Good one Zephyr 8, 8:43
July 25th, 20098:45 pm
Okay, our turn now.
Nick is Unknown
Okee, I guess it coulda been worse.
Two runs feel like a 100 pounds on my back at the moment…hope I’m wrong..
Could’ve been worse folks.
Lets get three or four here!
July 25th, 20098:46 pm
Lucky to get out of that one alive. Bats need to find the holes to turn this one around
Ok 2 runs aint nothing let’s go!
I have seen some of those Pole Shacks over on the west coast just north of the Naples area. They used to be used by fishermen and like you said, they are going to be a thing of the past soon. But so are hundreds of other ways of life.
I figured if you didn’t want to listen to me I’d try someone else…he understands how it works
Guess we are back to the 9 runs one night, none the next approach. Didn’t work all that well the first time they used it.
July 25th, 20098:47 pm
I am so tired of people saying the game is over in the 6th inning!!!!
I actually like Mr. Green…just never seen him in back-to-back posts before.
Wow. How in the world do you confuse Acosta with Boone Logan?
The 1st half Braves would just lay an egg the rest of the way, let’s see how the 2nd half Braves respond.
Ryan Braun is a douche.
He’s like a little girl as is Craig Counsell who I seriously can’t stand. He always gets cheap little hits like that.
We should be ahead.
July 25th, 20098:48 pm
Steve – your dillusional if you think the Braves are scoring 1 run much less 2. Like I said, we simply just cannot hit against this guy.
Whats with Chipper being a statue at 3B,
Here we go…meat of the lineup. Third time around. Let’s score some runs here.
But we’ve only had half of our at-bats! (STEVE)
doesn’t matter, i already called BALLGAME long time ago. You can go walk the dog cause this puppy died.
July 25th, 20098:49 pm
game is not over. Brewers bullpen is weak and we will see it soon.
I hate this douchebag – Braun NSSteve
I think he looks like a racoon but I wish he was a Braves douchbag racoon. He’s going to be a superstar.
Not that it matters…but Frenchy just went deep for the Mets.
Mixxo, we need some of that reverse psychology of yours again.
July 25th, 20098:50 pm
We definitely need to get to their bullpen and Bobby definitely needs to not go to his.
That was bs.
…Counsell is the luckiest player in the majors. No talent whatsoever.
I disagree. He was a productive player in his prime, plus it required major talent with that crazy stance he had.
I actually like Mr. Green…just never seen him in back-to-back posts before. – McFann :Ô:
Believe me… I wasn’t copycattin’…just worked out that way.
All of those back door curveballs are about 6 inches outside according to gameday.
July 25th, 20098:51 pm
We need the professor to get on here
N Nine is Craig Counsell. lol jk
July 25th, 20098:52 pm
I’m about to blurt out a Ballga….! any minute now !
You want to know who sucks, the Cardinals suck.
What a pathetic performance of pitching and defense.
This team has quit on us tonight.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
