I liked Boog’s line when they were revealing the trivia answer.
Boog: “Are you good with your answer”
Joe: “Yep, Birmingham Barons (or something)”
Boog: “Indianapolis Clowns? Cheated off the Facebook Page.”
I remember being so happy when I read the Jimmie Williams was a special instructor in spring training teaching bunting. Not many Braves learned much though.
Nova Scotia Steve, thanks bro. and it would be a hard fought win gallardo is tough, but i just have a good feeling about tonight. i think we are going to pull it out somehow..
Ok is anyone else listening to the braves radio broadcast and getting tired of our broadcaster sounding like a brew crew fan. I know he worked with them last year but it is getting old
Yeah Key Largo it is. A house on stilts out in the bay. There used to me 60 or more but hurricanes wiped them out over the years, only 6 or seven left. I used to go there with some friends, load the boat with supplies, spend several days, fishing off the dock, bathing in the bay, sleeping on the deck under the stars with the lights from the city across the bay, man that was the life. The Feds took it over a few years ago, his lease expired with the state and that was that.
well, how do you like that? tommy gun gives up a single to the pitcher while frenchy is hitting a 3-run jack for the mutts and has 4 rbis…i figured i would throw frenchy in there as we all know a few others will.
nope, don’t count on this press box announcer. He just corrected himself that it’s Manny Acosta up, not logan. Maybe i should try my eyes instead of my ears.
I have seen some of those Pole Shacks over on the west coast just north of the Naples area. They used to be used by fishermen and like you said, they are going to be a thing of the past soon. But so are hundreds of other ways of life.
