I like the Uni’s but someone needs to tighten them pants up a bit
Rob from SC
Pujols will win the GG, becuase he’s Pujols and everyone in the media drools over him.
July 25th, 20097:41 pm
That was a REALLY good play for out #2.
If Pujols wins the GG I’m gonna be sick…
July 25th, 20097:42 pm
You’re right Rob
Nova Scotia Steve
Let’s Go Church!
I like the way this guy plays….real nice pick-up!
Now Church makes that uni look sweet!
I want to see Pujols and Ryan Howard brawl
July 25th, 20097:43 pm
The Cubs are hot, they are the team we will have to battle for the WC IMO
Bat Masterson, you live near Destin? I grew up in Ft Walton Beach…
July 25th, 20097:44 pm
Keep that bat on your shoulder Hanson…Save your energy
July 25th, 20097:45 pm
Maybe Hanson will Barf on Bucknor, and make his ass sick!
July 25th, 20097:46 pm
I might say something enlightening someday, you just never know. (RHR)
I have faith
I wonder if the Yankees will give into Toronto and give up Hughes, Jackson, and Montero.
July 25th, 20097:47 pm
Way to go Nate
Pull them briches up…and steal 2B right here. !!
Whoever said they like to listen to Menudo on their wireless phone has GOT to be lying!!
Rob from SC, I hope so..
July 25th, 20097:48 pm
Nate is starting to warm up. I like him leading off. I like having a lead-off hitter with some pop in his bat AND with the ability to steal a base.
July 25th, 20097:49 pm
scouts say Montero will be a beast
July 25th, 20097:50 pm
I just glad noone’s made any Black Cracker jokes yet…cause boy I’ll tell ya…its tough…
Like really….Atlanta Black Crackers?????
love the baggy pants with the socks pulled up. Just wish they still used the traditional stirrups instead of all socks
July 25th, 20097:51 pm
Neil Young – A Man Needs A Maid. (Couch)
I don’t think RHR needs one in quite the same way, tater.
July 25th, 20097:52 pm
Oh…yeah, BMac’s AVG is now .299…
July 25th, 20097:53 pm
Hi Mitchie-san, I live in Santa Rosa Beach about 15 miles east of Destin. I moved here about 4.5 years ago from So west GA.
July 25th, 20097:54 pm
Boog: “its someone that gets confused with Ricky Martin”
Simpson “It would have to be Eddie Perez”…lol
July 25th, 20097:55 pm
Regarding the Tex trade, I still think it is too soon to make a final evaluation about which team fared better. (Fred)
yeah, fans have that luxury, GMs don’t.
Yunel once again.
Steve from OH
July 25th, 20097:56 pm
Man, Esco brought his big boy glove today, huh?
Greg in TN
Nice grab by Yunel.
Escobar has been a different player since the All-Star break
Mitchie-san, where do you live now? I only no a little bit about FT Walton, I moved here because of the construction, it was great, not so much now. It’s nice to have the beach though.
July 25th, 20097:57 pm
Hanson gettin stronger????
Any body for Halladay but them Stank ass Phillies!
Ryan Braun again huh
Counsell may be the real victim here of the throwback jerseys. And I’m pretty sure they had to trade away a minor leaguer for cash just to pay for the fabric required to make Prince’s uni.
July 25th, 20097:58 pm
Jason Heyward’s night last night up the road from me in Sevierville against the Smokies:
3-5, single, double, 2-run homer, 3 RBIs in total as Mississip’ beats the Tennessee Smokies 10-0.
Braun looks locked in against Hanson
July 25th, 20097:59 pm
From MLB Traderumors.com:
The Rays are likely “to see what they can get” for Carl Crawford after the season, and will hold onto prospects they consider keepers.
I know everybody would like for the Braves to go after him. Who would do you fellow bloggers think should be offered if the Braves were interested(minus Heyward, of course)?
Nolie, I was waitin’ for dat, but I thought it would be from RHR.
cabravesfan – checking to see if you’re out there. You’ve been very quiet – anything going on I should be concerned about?
July 25th, 20098:00 pm
There We Go B-Macc!!!
that was strike 3
Nice throw by B-Mac and a great tag from Prado.
Nice throw by Mac.
If we could land Carl Crawford…I’d be all for it…
YES!! You are OUT, Mr. Counsel!
July 25th, 20098:01 pm
Nice BMac! Of course now Braun bats with an 0-0 count…
It totally looked like Braun went around on that pitch!
July 25th, 20098:02 pm
I’m here…been a little distracted tonight
July 25th, 20098:03 pm
anybody have a website that can link link the braves game live. Im not at home and http://www.p2p4u.net.net doesnt work. Im at the inlaws house please help.
cabravesfan – checking to see if you’re out there. You’ve been very quiet – anything going on I should be concerned about? – Vinings Jim
She’s doin’ just fine Jim….sitting in the living room watching the game. I just went to get her something to drink between innings.
Blogs eatin posts AGAIN! It really doesn’t want to hear about those unis does it?
But of course this one will go through…
Nova Scotia Steve…………I know, it wouldnt be politically correct to put “black crackers” on the jerseys.
There’s a golfer on the PGA Tour named J.B. Holmes. When he first came on the tour as a rookie, his name on the leaderboard (before he won his first tournament) was John B. Holmes. A few weeks after he won his first tournament, all of a sudden, you start seeing J.B. Holmes on the leaderboard, lol.
Now dude went by John Holmes all his life. However, he gets on the PGA Tour, and it’s “either you become J.B. Holmes…..or you dont play golf anymore, lol”.
Personally, he should have stuck to his “given” name, the name he grew up with. If anything, people would notice him more. Any attention, from a marketing standpoint, is better than no attention at all.
July 25th, 20098:04 pm
Nice play on Counsell, man that guy drives me crazy. If he only played against the Braves he would be a hall of famer
July 25th, 20098:05 pm
By the way, for all my moaning about Milwaukee, I had a real nice afternoon run along the lake and an air show to watch, all at the same time. Very cool. And you can’t beat a 76-degree day in July.
Where was that pitch
July 25th, 20098:06 pm
Gotta love how McCann sprints out of the box.
A double for Mac, should make McFann happy.
Thank God B-Mac…
You needed that hit…
I think that even Kotchman would have gotten a double on that one.
That was and AllStar at bat by Mac right there.
July 25th, 20098:07 pm
Attaboy Mac! I bet it’s the pants.
That just doesn’t sound right
Look at the speedy McCann dancin out there on second
See, they open the roof, and…
Yep, I’m happy! Hopefully he won’t just sit there…
July 25th, 20098:08 pm
and it was very much appreciated

Hey T’Hawkin – having a good time today from what I read.
July 25th, 20098:11 pm
Mixxo – she promised no drinking tonight, so she has to stick with water like she’s making me do tonight.
July 25th, 20098:12 pm
Doesn’t look like we’re going to score many tonight does it folks?
I never promised I wouldn’t drink tonight, just that you wouldn’t and he never said it was alcohol…
July 25th, 20098:13 pm
Great so Braun again huh
BTW–Boog was talkin’ about that WP last night–when BMac tripped–and said BMac saw the video of it and was like, “Wow, that was worse than I thought it was.”
That was a very pitiful play. Felt bad for him there.
July 25th, 20098:14 pm
and it was very much appreciated
Pleasure’s all mine Miss.
July 25th, 20098:16 pm
cabravesfan – semantics
Prince Fielder is very fat.
July 25th, 20098:17 pm
Good inning, Tommy!
Couple of runs here will be nice. C’mon guys!
July 25th, 20098:18 pm
That Hanson is pretty good
Looks like this one will have to be a hard fought victory
July 25th, 20098:19 pm
Mixxo, I like your last post… “will” be nice. No would to it, huh?
where exactly are you?
The other thing to remember about the scouting report on Happ – it’s one person’s opinion.(NCBravesFan)
not sure that I understand that about one person’s opinion. Literally dozens of people have scouted Happ over the years.
He is off to a great start but the sample size is way to small to tell us anything meaningful about it. Sure sometimes they scouts are wrong and a guy performs better than expected, but usually they are in the ball park. It will take severaly years to see which is which for sure, but they have certainly received value from him so far that will always have been there no matter the rest of his career. I would include him in a deal for Halladay depending of course on the rest of the players involved. Right now the odds are that Halladay would help more in the near future, but like any trade it’s a gamble. Not sure he would make them a lock, but I would likely be willing to bet that they would win the division. Might not happen though. I hope it doesn’t.
call it whatever you want- I’m still opening a beer…
July 25th, 20098:20 pm
The temps are wonderful down here in November through March but you have to love the water to live down here in the summer. It will go months and not get below 80 degrees. Look at the next 5 day forecast for the Keys.
PWHjort – I totally disagree about Prince Fielder – they just keep using very unflattering camera angles (sorry – I just feel like someone needs to pick a fight – not much controversy so far)
Canadaian braves fan
July 25th, 20098:21 pm
a good night of work for Bennett at AAA, NOT
July 25th, 20098:22 pm
Good AB Church
Where’d the offense go???
This Hanson dude sux, he can’t strike out anybody.
We are so gonna lose.
Gee I miss the old days of three weeks ago and more.
Where’s the board excitement?
Too much good times. It is driving all the interesting venters away.
July 25th, 20098:24 pm
cabravesfan – I hope you enjoy it, just like I would have enjoyed the small glass of red wine I didn’t drink with dinner.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
