There’s a golfer on the PGA Tour named J.B. Holmes. When he first came on the tour as a rookie, his name on the leaderboard (before he won his first tournament) was John B. Holmes. A few weeks after he won his first tournament, all of a sudden, you start seeing J.B. Holmes on the leaderboard, lol.
Now dude went by John Holmes all his life. However, he gets on the PGA Tour, and it’s “either you become J.B. Holmes…..or you dont play golf anymore, lol”.
Personally, he should have stuck to his “given” name, the name he grew up with. If anything, people would notice him more. Any attention, from a marketing standpoint, is better than no attention at all.

The other thing to remember about the scouting report on Happ – it’s one person’s opinion.(NCBravesFan)
not sure that I understand that about one person’s opinion. Literally dozens of people have scouted Happ over the years.
He is off to a great start but the sample size is way to small to tell us anything meaningful about it. Sure sometimes they scouts are wrong and a guy performs better than expected, but usually they are in the ball park. It will take severaly years to see which is which for sure, but they have certainly received value from him so far that will always have been there no matter the rest of his career. I would include him in a deal for Halladay depending of course on the rest of the players involved. Right now the odds are that Halladay would help more in the near future, but like any trade it’s a gamble.Not sure he would make them a lock, but I would likely be willing to bet that they would win the division. Might not happen though. I hope it doesn’t.
