That’s the way it should have been from the beginning.
We still have a very large question mark for the bottom of this inning. Hopefully somebody can get it together and not give up a hit or walk to the first batter or else it’s Bobby Cox’s bullpen merry-go-round.

The flies in this place, I hope Hanson takes note of that tomorrow. McCann should have 3 lazy flies in the OF and Chipper and Nate should have near-miss HRs, maybe doubles, Prado’s was legit.

I’m thinking it’s done deal that the Phillies will acquire Roy Halladay. This seems a lot like two years ago when we got Mark Teixeira. All the talk beforehand was that the Braves were the most likely landing spot for Mark. Of course the difference is that the Braves were not in first place at the time of the Teixeira trade, and the Phillies, of course, are pretty much running away with the division this year. Thankfully, we have the “wild card” to chase.

Nova Scotia Steve- Don’t like Glaus. He’s not worth trying to slip into this lineup, even if the Cardinals gave him to us for free. Overbay on the other hand could be an interesting thought. I haven’t seen him play, but the article that brought it up claims he wouldn’t be MUCH of a defensive downgrade while adding some pop. I’d rather any available money be spent on a RP though

This is the Glaus rumors and its from Ken Rothensal…he could play first base or outfield…
Some teams that may be interested in Glaus are as follows, the Rangers, Mets, Braves and Giants who are looking to plug holes at first base. Also the Tigers and Mariners are teams that may be looking for a DH.

Supes………Garret only had a bad April. In May, he started to heat up. He hit .286 with 15 RBIs in the month of May. In June, hit .306 with 3 homers and 12 RBIs. And so far in July has hit .323 with 3 homers and 10 RBIs.
Garret has been raking for almost 3 months now.
