I wonder why the Brewer’s organist plays for the Braves while they’re up at bat.
Man the Brewers are very lucky tonight.
July 24th, 200910:32 pm
Kotchman has zero power?
He may not hit a lot of them but they tend to go far when he does.
Love it! Anderson and LaRoche – Dynamic Duo pretty much sums it up.
Kotchman knew he got under that one. He put his head down as soon as he hit it.
Oh well, nine more outs. No big deal, right?
For the Love of Pete, get Craig Counsell out!
Yeah, one more try…Hoffman? He’s a righty, ain’t he?
Well, whatever…so was the last guy he faced.
Steve from OH
RHR–he probably means Halliday, not Holliday…
July 24th, 200910:33 pm
PWHjort – thats what Boog said.
No no no no. He said HALLADAY, not Holliday, is signed through 2010.
Kotch may have zero power but he also has zero errors.
I am a bit surprised Javy is out there…the top of the lineup has faired well against him tonight.
Braves special assistant in Chi-town…hmmm….
Hey, and I was totally kidding when I said I hate 12-game hitting streaks…
Good Footage Of Joe Simpson…We need to see more videos of him when he played…
the press box announcer just said Eric O’Flattery was warming up in the press box…..well, that was a compliment, at least, I guess.
July 24th, 200910:34 pm
be careful on Counsell and Braun, Javy
And McCann has caught Hoffman before, so he knows what he’s got. so he’ll light him up. No problem.
Tomahawkin Good Footage Of Joe Simpson
When was this?
Nova Scotia Steve
Kotch has McCann power these days
Wonder if we could trade for Ned Yost?
i mean bullpen.
Overbay’s numbers: .260 9 HR 42 RBI. Not much more production on the RBI side than Kotchman. Why would you give up players for that?
I hope you’re right…it’s gonna make me really sad if you’re not…
July 24th, 200910:35 pm
C’mon Vazquez…just get through this inning…jesus
Not good. I imagine they’ll have him bunt — which might be a good thing considering the way he hits the Braves.
Moylan’s gunna blow this one…I’m calling it right here and now…
Can’t stand that guy
When are we getting Bennett back in the pen?
Oh wait, is Saito Japanese? You know what tjat
means…you’re right. We’ll take him.
And zero stolen bases
and with the leadoff guy reaching, Fielder too (unless we can get our first DP of the night)
Yeah…not liking the idea of running him out there. Hope I am wrong…
July 24th, 200910:36 pm
Enjoying some of that “High Life” aren’t we???
The curse of KJ ………..Moylan is warming up right now. Doesnt look good.
Hey … how about that?
Fielded a sac bunt cleanly and got an out. Imagine that.
Man! I get Nervous watching this team field bunts!
He likes Chicago style pizza, I guess!
Too bad we got JV on his one bad night at out every 10 starts or this one would be in the bag.
Jon Sciambi looks like a big kid.
And for once I’m not making a joke about his appearance for example or personality… not that I am known to do that. I like him.
It was an observation.
July 24th, 200910:37 pm
My bad again, PW. Youre such a good listener.
must be a big press box Carroll
Ryan Braun….uuhhhhhhhhhhhh oooooohhhhhhhhhhhh
RHR……………….I agree, pass on all those bums.
Dang, Counsell has a snout on him, doesn’t he?
Oh Boy! Here We Go! I’m Getting Hot Flashes!
Ryan Braun looks like a fruit bat.
Thank god we just took the out this time.
Come on Javy. Pitch like an ace right here. Bear down.
yeah i know he is their dh but if you offer them young starting pitching to start with like medlen and parr its tough to hold on to player who just is a dh because its the easiest position to fill where starting pitching s the hardiest to fill
July 24th, 200910:38 pm
scary scary stuff going on right now
I’d go after Saito if the price was…Luis Sumoza. LOL!
July 24th, 200910:39 pm
Moylan & O’Flaherty warming up…..Braun up…Fielder on deck….runner on second….5-4…
The curse of KJ
we want moylan we want moylan we want moylan
July 24th, 200910:40 pm
Wow. That’s a big out. One more time, Javy.
big K, one more to go
Whew….big out. Make me look stupid Javy…get ‘em.
July 24th, 200910:41 pm
Now that was a great strike without giving Braun anything to hit!
Ryan Bruan must have forgotten to get his eyebrows plucked in between innings.
Okay, now I’m making a joke about somebody’s appearance.
Prince Is Due, Not Good! I’d walk him here
necromancer, i won’t admit to that. but I will say a miller lite happens to be my beer of choice. Call me a simple gal.
Fielder doesn’t get cheated. What a rip.
I just pooped a little on that swing
Why would you pitch to Fielder here?
I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I think with the way the Braves bullpen has been going lately (with the exception of Rafael Soriano) and the amount of work they got yesterday afternoon and with Vazquez’s durable arm, I approve the move of bringing him back for the top of the seventh. Hopefully, he can get out of the inning without a run scoring.
July 24th, 200910:42 pm
Damn! B-Macc, That was Ugly
Not very impressive there McCann!
Wow. What the heck happened there?
That was so embarrassing I bet even McFann is blushing
If Manny Ramirez was a catcher, that’s what it would look like.
Is B-Mac drunk?
the hopes of the braves nation rest in your hands mr. hanson
C’mo Javy, throw it 61 feet at least
Put Fielder on base….Vasquez has made McGahee look stupid
No more wild pitches.
Stike his ass out Javy.
July 24th, 200910:43 pm
Forget Miller Lite!
I need a Tokyo (Long Island) Tea, to watch this game!
lol McFann are you okay after seeing that?
pooped a little more
I think the reason they are pitching to Fielder is because they don’t want to put the go ahead run on base.
I guess Bobby will need rest Mac tomorrow
Fielder is 0-3 with 3 Ks….
July 24th, 200910:44 pm
How many pitches does Javy have? He just shook his head four times.
Oops. Forgot to spell check. Make that Vasquez’s arm.
OK Mac, signal in Espanol, please!
Rob from SC
oh my God…I can’t handle this
c’mon golden sombrero . . .
July 24th, 200910:45 pm
Wow. That had some uumph behind it. 95mph
*runs thru the wall*
