Don’t know why. But I’ve never been able to stand the guy and have always rooted for him to fail — even when he’s not killing the Braves.

No, I think they needed probably 40,000 at most, but Olympic Stadium origannly seated about 100,000 so I think they believed in their mines they took out enough seats. On a positive side, it makes it easier to get tickets to the game and at good prices, even if the sox or yankees. are in town

Shamus Thacker, I wouldn’t say Chipper is a slugger. He has- what- 12 homeruns this season? Oh, by the way, Javy just walked another one. He needs to get out of this inning with the lead.
But D. Lowe does and look at his stats for the season. We don’t need him to be our Josh Beckett in the postseason or go to guy when we need a win. We just need him to be 1 of 5 pitchers in one of the best starting rotations in the league. We have that luxury, the White Sox didn’t.

UNCBrave, I don’t know that Atlanta could get much for him? Do you think they would? He’s coming off of surgery, got hit in the arm by a line drive and has been woefully inconsistent.
Anyone else think that if you catch a foul ball and land in the seats that it should not be an out? I mean, you left the field of play…just a question.
Yankees are apparently looking into Scott Downs. If he’s available, the Braves need to do everything they can to grab him. Owed 4 million this year and next and been pitching great. Would make a perfect setup man for Soriano and garuntees a solid relief pitcher would still be here next year incase both Soriano and Gonzalez leave
Heath, I just think because it is so big when we have 25,000-30,000 it still looks real empty. I don’t have a problem with it though because I don’t really want to be squeezed in places like a sardine. I like the fact that I don’t have to break the bank to get a good seat at the Ted.
