Bat Masterson…my brother in Tokyo and I share an account…the picture quality is pretty good…there are the occasional stoppages but you can always quickly switch to the other network feed (or either radio broadcasts)…overall it’s awesome, that plus the bloggage lets me feel like I still live in Atlanta…
Yeah hitting him 6th certainly isn’t something I would have thought of, and it really has paid dividends. Just huge to win this game, if we can pull it out. To have a chance to sweep the team that was first in the WC-good things. Very good things.
Seems like that jerk with Fox Rosenthal claimed that Yunel dodges the best pitchers. What do you call Lincecum, the not really right handed Cy Young super pitcher. Will he take back his stupid words? Don’ bet on it, if he is typical of the network for which he works.
There might be some stat getting forget here. Anyone has the number of error for the braves last 20 games? I bet is low. They have been doing this clean.
MLB Network is as stupid as ESPN. Larkin tried to say something good about the Braves and the host basically stepped in and just said forget the 4ER, let’s look at Lincecum’s strikeouts. HUH???
If the braves don’t give Yunel a long term deal at the end of this season, they are nuts. He and Mc Ann need to be the key of our lineup for years to come.
Has anyone mentioned that Lincecum looks like Mitch Kramer on Dazed and Confused? Remember the pitching scene before O’Bannion (Affleck) chases him off the field?
My God the blog slows down when things are going good. Where is willieg? Herschel Talker? Hell, N8 doesn’t even frequent the place as much when the team is playing well. I mean, my goodness, if it just weren’t for Bobby Cox, this team would be 25 games over by now I tells ya! /rolls eyes.
“From this day on, I’ll play even harder,” Escobar said. “I met kids that watch the Braves play all the time. From this moment on, they know that they met Yunel Escobar. And I’ll do whatever it takes to not let those kids down so they feel proud of having a friend like me.”
Heath (Cleveland)…………Right when the McLouth trade went down, I suggested dropping Escobar down to the 5 hole in the order. I guess that someone could say “better late than never”.
I knew that we could play this way. It was just hard to see a number of people on here to see that. I CANNOT stress the IMPORTANCE of getting rid of the easy outs in the line-up. We are much me adept at working the count, getting the starting pitcher’s pitch count up, then earlier in the season.
Heath, well I think a lot of the media friendly players like Lincecum/Wright/Ortiz etc. can’t do any wrong and I guess they’re all like friends, I guess.
