wow! gonzo a true competitor is upset that he allowed that run to score that will count against his teammate. it was a weak grounder and just a fluke play and hes still upset….
McFann,
Brian already did his part today. Got to Lincecum early … and then called a great game for JJ. Plus, in that AB — one of those curveballs had to be ball. They couldn’t both be strikes.
Rob from SC: Freeman is not Heyward-ready for 2010. You’ll see Freeman in 2011 more likely, sometime in the mid-season if he’s hot in Gwinnett. We have Kotchman through 2011.
Oh yeah. ‘S cool. I’m not gonna start in on the, “OMGosh?? What’s wrong with my mann??” stuff…heck, I wasn’t expecting him to cream the Freak, anyway. It’s not like it was some “nobody” on the mound. He drove in a run, and like you said, called a great game.
(And yeah, couple of bad calls on the strikes, but what’d we expect? )
I said it last week, I’ll say it again, we need to get to the WS so people can see how ridiculous Soriano really is. Bah, lucky hit there, that’s what we call “slapping”.
Isn’t it funny how since the Frenchy trade we have taken off and the Mutts have gone entirely into the tank. Isn’t it funny that everyone was mad at Wren about Smoltz… well half a season gone and now a 1-3 record with a 6 or 7 era.. Soriano probably told Gonzo to give one up one so he could get a save opportunity. Hopefully the Braves make it not a save situation here.

Gonzo didn’t screw that up. He got a Braves killer to ground right to a defender. Just dribbled to 3rd a little too slowly.

well at least the Braves aren’t the only ones capable of losing series to the Nats
Mets go down 3-1, lose the series (after scoring 6 the first game they only score 2 in the final 2 games)
