Shamus McFann must be in the yard jumping around.

My family wishes I was! ;)

Yeah, he’s cooking! And Kotchy extends his hitting streak, too! Infield hit, was it? (I missed that one. :( ) Sweet!

It’s all good. :D

Just noticed that this is McCann’s 6th game in a row. Meaning he’ll probably sit tomorrow.

Dunno. It’s been gorgeous in Atlanta the last few days. Temps in the 80s with low humidity. Maybe that’s why McCann is starting to heat up. The Southern sun is finally cutting him a break.

“Sandoval is reminiscent of the late-career Tony Gwynn, in terms of girth.”

If the two of them, Mo Vaughn, Cecil Fielder and Terry Forster had a hot dog eating competition, I’m not sure who would be the favorite.

Pryguy dont forget that Huddy will be back in a month which will add an arm in the bullpen. Not saying we dont need an arm but dont expect to get a big reliever. May pick up someone up off waivers such as we did with Jarad Wright a few years ago.

After seeing how Kawakami pitches much better with extra rest, then seeing Hanson blow the Giants away on extra rest, I would be tempted to go with a 6 man rotation if Hudson pitches well

Eric,

Understand where your coming from, but it’s already been said Huddy won’t be coming out of the bullpen. The way these starters have been pitching, I don’t know who you are going to want to move to the bullpen either. It’s not to say their success as starters can translate to pitching out of the pen. Completely different mentalities. I’d rather find someone with more experience/dependability. Again, in a perfect world…

Just taking a quick peek at who the Brewers are likely to have against the Braves:

GM 1: Parra / 4-8 / 6.37 ERA vs Vazquez
GM 2: Gallardo / 8-7 / 3.28 ERA vs. Hanson
GM 3: Burns / 2-3 / 6.21 ERA vs. DLowe

Just saw this from DOB a few pages back. “They’re always on the brain. Fish tacos … you can get ‘em in any city now, practically, including Atlanta. But they’re still best in San Diego”

I always read the blog raves from DOB concerning the fish tacos but he’s only getting the fast food chain Rubbio’s fish taco’s which aren’t that good. Better fish tacos have been made in SoCal than those of Rubbio’s.
