yes he is. with him the WHIP usually says it all. When he can keep it down, he has very good seasons;when it drifts up, he doesn’t. wonder what his K/100 pitches is this year? gotta be better than it often is.
Big inning here. If Tommy can come back, throw the filth AND for strikes, I’m feeling good. We are going to get to Sanchez. He is leaving balls all around the plate.
McLouth rolled his wrist on a diving play in the first game back from the break. Has there been any news of that bothering him? Could that be the cause of his slump? He really looks off at the plate. Getting under just about everything.
I’m sure everyone knows Giants fans call Pablo Sandoval “Kung Fu Panda”, but did anyone know that they call Sandoval “Fat Ichiro”. I thought that was funny…..just sayin, the man is large and still very, very good.
Bengie Molina and Prince Fielder need to open up their own “Man Boobs” shop.TnBrian

Mets up 5-0 on the Nats. Weird stat that I saw the other day. We are 5-4 versus the Nats. The rest of the NL East is 26-4

44 pitches through 2 innings for Hanson. If he doesnt settle down, this could be a short night for him. I still feel that he can go 6.
Meanwhile, there goes 11 innings of no hit ball there.
What did I say about the offense picking up Hanson? I’ve been saying all season that Garret can turn on a fast ball.
