Carrol/DOB/Bowman have reported it several times. It’ll begin either this or next week. Position players can stay on rehab assignments for 20 days, so I assume Infante will be back early to mid August.
The rain chance for tonight is for hit or miss thunderstorms so even if it rains, there will be nothing more than a delay. There is no chance of the game getting rained out.
Yeah I caught that. I guess it finilized the “jinx” on the 2009 season for the Braves:)

All this talk about Francoeur, watch him light your team up this series. You know former players love to hand it to their former teams. Frenchy is 4-9 since joining the Mets, he just needed a change of scenery. I find it amusing that most of you think just because he sucked it up for the Braves means he will suck it up for the Mets. He’s got more protection in the lineup here, and we actually have a real hitting coach instead of that worthless goo of a coach you guys have. You will regret trading him to the same division. I bet he plays well enough that he will be offered arby in the offseason. The Frenchman is going to tear you guys up!!
Adam Dunn…nobody is going to trade “good” middle relief pitching for either of those guys. Why does everyone on here think we can get rid of the guys we all think are terrible, and get great players in return?? Plus, Kotchman isn’t going anywhere.
Met fans have to be the single most ignorant fan base in all of sports. They will talk trash about anything. Their actually braggibg about getting Francoeur?? When you guys actually win something..anything…get back to us.
“I always have so much fun when I play and last year that got robbed from me,” Francoeur says. “The last 30, 40 games I had the attitude like, ‘Screw it, I want this to be over.’ The only way to really do that was to have the season end and just be done with it.”
have a feeling the Braves will trade Escobar to Boston for Lowrie, Bard and a prospect shortly after Lowrie comes off the DL.
*******************
NO WAY the Braves make that trade…Bard and Ellsbery maybe…Bard is a Tarheel so I would love to see him with the Braves. We need a PROVEN player like Ellsbury to make that deal…And I DO NOT want BUCHOLZ..We do NOT NEED PITCHING…RATHER HITTING
why do some of you still act as if garret anderson has been horrible for us the last month or two? it was one thing at the beginning of the season but he has turned out to be a decent player. Not saying LF couldn’t be upgraded because it certainly can, I just don’t think he is nearly as bad right now as some people act like.

This maybe the SINGLE most absurd THING I’ve ever read on any Braves Blog. Keep it going MUTS fans.
Enjoy your .250 singles hitter with his occasional 1-2 HR per month.
