Carrol/DOB/Bowman have reported it several times. It’ll begin either this or next week. Position players can stay on rehab assignments for 20 days, so I assume Infante will be back early to mid August.

The rain chance for tonight is for hit or miss thunderstorms so even if it rains, there will be nothing more than a delay. There is no chance of the game getting rained out.

All this talk about Francoeur, watch him light your team up this series. You know former players love to hand it to their former teams. Frenchy is 4-9 since joining the Mets, he just needed a change of scenery. I find it amusing that most of you think just because he sucked it up for the Braves means he will suck it up for the Mets. He’s got more protection in the lineup here, and we actually have a real hitting coach instead of that worthless goo of a coach you guys have. You will regret trading him to the same division. I bet he plays well enough that he will be offered arby in the offseason. The Frenchman is going to tear you guys up!!

Adam Dunn…nobody is going to trade “good” middle relief pitching for either of those guys. Why does everyone on here think we can get rid of the guys we all think are terrible, and get great players in return?? Plus, Kotchman isn’t going anywhere.

why do some of you still act as if garret anderson has been horrible for us the last month or two? it was one thing at the beginning of the season but he has turned out to be a decent player. Not saying LF couldn’t be upgraded because it certainly can, I just don’t think he is nearly as bad right now as some people act like.
