Tom O

Yeah, it is pretty bad. And actually, the slump really started after he crashed into the backstop on June 22, and then there was the dizziness a couple days later, which they said was from the flu…

I wanted to bring this up with you before, but if I was just imagining it, and maybe I still am, I didn’t want you to get any more upset than you already are.

Thanks…that thought had crossed my mind at one point, but I was always like, “Yer overreacting, girl.”

Can’t wait till the second half to see if he gets back on track–which I’m sure he will. Tonight was a good sign (though that’s what we said about July 7th). But tonight–no K’s!! :)

BTW–Thanks, Shamus! Yeah, his offense is coming around…still can’t figure out that PB… :?

Ok. Worst case scenario, Bravos went .500 on the road trip. If we can sneak out a win tomorrow afternoon somehow, Braves go 6-4, and 5-2 in their last 7. But either way, playing good baseball right now. Sure would like to see them get the win tomorrow-hopefully we’ll have Kotch back.

Really liked what we saw from Church tonight. Put the ball in play with a guy on third, though it didn’t work. Two really sharply hit balls.

The Braves are playing good baseball. They look like winners.

Great job by the Braves tonight. The Rockies can swing the bats in that ballpark and we held them pretty much in check. I thought Moylan, O’Flaherty, and Acosta did a great job. Got hurt by some weak hits but they kept the lead. Soriano may be the most dominant closer in the NL. Glad we could get JJ the win! Let’s have a blow-out win tomorrow!

He shoulda asked BMac about that PB. In case you hadn’t noticed, that thing’s got me bugged.

Very good game, though. Good pitching from our guys, and they knocked in enough runs to get by. The second sac-fly off BMac’s proved to be the difference-maker.

Going for the series win tomorrow, get to .500! That would be great! (And maybe Ross should catch, eh?)

Brian Jordan can’t pronounce words properly like Sariano instead of Soriano, slida instead of slider, and the stutters and brain farts he gets before he can finish what he’s trying to say. I watched Jeff in Lilburn at Parkview so of course I’m a fan, but he has failed to mature as a hitter. The demotion to the minors last year should have been sufficient to wake him up, but he didn’t get the message. This is not a Terry Pendleton problem.
