Chop Chop – agreed. I keep thinking I missed something when I read all the comments about how we just lost, it’s over, etc., and I look at the screen and see that we are winning. I don’t really get it. Do these people actually watch baseball? Games have ups and downs – not every pitch of every inning goes your way. Just because the other team gets a hit does not mean the game is over.

Jupiter Bob………..I’m not the kind of fan who gets upset over one bad inning. What UPSETS me is the fact that I’ve seen Peter Moylan come in and give up runs in close ball games. Dude is too inconsistent to be a 7th inning guy. Yet Bobby keeps throwing his A$$ out there.

Um…that was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. It just went right over his glove…troubling indeed, Chief…

No sweat. Wasn’t too hard to get, plus I like putting stats together.
From his return to the DL on May 8th to June 25th (the day he got dizzy during the game), he hit .362 with a .438 OBP, a .574 SLG, 6 HR, 24 RBI, 10 2B, 1 3B, 18 BB, 21 SO, 6 GDP.
From June 26 to the present (not counting tonight), he hit .204 with a .246 OBP, a .296 SLG, no homers, 4 RBI, 5 2B, 3 BB, 8 SO, and 1 GDP.
I’ve got the RISP numbers, too…I’ll try to get them up before I sign off.

Why did he feel the need to take Jurrjens out after the first sign of trouble?
I missed the first run but unfortunately saw the next two. Could be 4-1 if Moylan had snagged that ball up the middle, should be 4-2 if McCann hadn’t been a retard but I guess the O’Dogg is going to have to keep ‘em in check.
Not so sure about the guy but I’d rather have him than Manny.
Three more outs Eric and we can probably call it a night.

Yet we’re 6th in IP for starters. It’s very simple, Bobby just continues to run the same guys out there night, after night, after night. You can’t do that. Even the best relievers aren’t built to pitch 6 nights a week.
