No guarantees? That’s fine. The way I see it, his glove is gonna always give him a ton of value. His bat looks to be there. He walked 13% of the time as a 22-year old rookie. That’s impressive plate discipline. Not worried at all.

That is an error. The Braves announcer are begging for Francoeur to be given a hit on that play. Francoeur swings at the first pitch and hits a weak grounder that the shortstop makes a bad throw on.

If Francoeur gets credited with a hit there, then he is guaranteed at least 3 more games in the line-up, lol. Meanwhile, Matt Diaz will continue to languish on the bench.

NIce bunt there by Konrad. Dude can hit the homer and bunt.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Gonzo. When he’s on he’s one of the most intimidating, unhittable pitchers in baseball.
