Lets see, Chipper injured himself leaving the batters box, and Prado can handle 3rd as well as Chipper and we now have Conrad at 2nd (great player) Do we really need Chipper to win? Probably not, so let the old man rest and lets get on with the season. Chipper is injury prone and not doing that great at the plate anyway. I don't see his absence changing the season. He would be great in the organization, not necessarily on the field, as he is too much on and off again.

I knew it…I just new it! A bleeding heart liberal who embraces(idolizes) the liberal arts major media types.

Did you win the lottery to attend the pervert Jacko’s services?

Larry,

Don't presume you know my political persuasion simply because I'm concerned about the anthropogenic removal of wildlife. That doesn't mean I'm liberal or conservative - I'm simply aware of what's going on outside of our comfortable American lives.

For the record (because YOU brought it up): I can't stand the attention Jackson's death is receiving. There is actual news to report on, but you wouldn't know it from the media reaction to this guy over the past week.

to nj braves

I really don't think most of these folks watch any baseball they got nothing else to do all day. You are right Gonzo blew it and everytime he comes in its nerve wracking watching always pitch from behind and giving up a walk or a hit in between. I would include him in a package and let Medlin set up Soriano.

Francoeuer's in lineup tonight, Chipper's out. Chipper has a slight groin strain/pull/tweak/whatever, but it's mainly precautionary, a day off (and he looks like he needs one, if you ask me)

Paul: The correct phrase is "flashes in the pan" not "flash in the pans". Damn Southern Ozark upbringing. That ever hurt you in the clubs out in San Francisco, you being a hayseed and all?

Paul

Your posts about religion just reinforce why I prefer to skip straight over anything you say. You can feel free to not believe in God if that's what you choose, but I think you're going to have a hard time supporting the notion that religion = evil.

God bless you, sir. You certainly need it.

lentz

im sure i could destroy you in any debate about philosophy of religion or politics, but this isnt the forum for it. that is why i have an issue with your post.

be as stupid as you want to be on this blog, but be stupid about baseball, not religion or politics. i dont have a problem being challenged, and have never backed down from a position i hold strongly to on this blog, but the "other subjects" you are talking about arent supposed to be discussed on the blog. those topics are not welcome, and if thats what you want to talk about, YOU are not welcome.

as for what you think i have never considered...your previous post shows how prejudice and ignorant you are about southern folks, and its not surprising that that attitude has carried over to what you think of individuals on this blog.
