I noticed that as well. And it wasn’t that fakey-wakey hug that ball players seem to be enamoured of lately, but rather a genuine, happy, “you did good” hug, like you see when a team wins the WS.

I hope Prado is out there again tonight.

Lew – re “Stained Glass”

If you are ever in Paris, catch the train up to Reims (Champagne) and see the Notre Dame there. It has extensive Chagall stained glass windows which I think were done in the 1970s. It is all just specky !

THE GOOD
1. We finally beat the Phillies at home.
2. Prado bumps Johnson from 2B!!!
3. Lowe was back on and deserved the win.

THE BAD
1. Gonzo is a nervous wreck and can’t be trusted with a lead..
2. Phillies fans were louder than Braves fans at game. My section was so quiet I felt like I was watching at home.
3. No one on our team can bunt. That squeeze play was ugly!

Yunel, KJ, Kotch to Pitt for JWilson, Sanchez and Roachey.

They save alot of dough, we get defense at SS and offense at 2B and 1B.

Fleming-- This is true…he shot a bad to center in his first or second AB, but that dumb Reaper had the range to get it (Chip was all like, "Look at the range of Shane Victorino!" I was like, "Make me."). That one had a real good chance to be a um…double. Then he got a good hold of one that looked like it was gonna get between Rollins and Feliz, but Feliz made a diving stop and threw to first just in time. But yeah, no K's since…oh, well, since Sunday, OK…but my point is…he only swung and missed twice last night. Hey, and I was looking at this same stretch of games last year (June 22 through the 29), and his stats through those games are very similar to the ones he's put up during this homestand. Must be something about this time of year…
