zookey…………what I “have a problem with” is a player who has hit only 5 homers all year, talking about how his “lucky underwear” has helped the Braves go 7-0 whenever he wears them. However about wearing something that will help him hit some homers?

Nolie, I’m with you. Maybe Yunel was hurt all along. However, even as big of a Yunel defender as I am, if he’s playing a tit for tat game with Cox saying if you can tell me I’m hurt when I’m not, I can tell you I’m hurt when I’m not, then we’ve got a major, major, major problemo on our hands.

Here’s my question…if they sign Mauer to the monster deal he deserves, does that make Morneau expendable? I mean, surely they would love to keep them both, but what if the Twins can’t afford both of their salaries? When will Morneau be a free agent? Is it possible that a team like Atlanta could turn some prospects and some good pitching into a Justin Morneau? Just a thought.
