I remember the other day when CJ was sitting in the dugout long after one of their defeats. Martin Prado was also still sitting there. I think Martin has a desire to win that needs to be contagious.

That was a nice win in a season of full of so many disappointments. It sure would be nice if Bobby recognizes the folly of playing Kelly Johnson instead of Prado. As for the game itself, I would venture that this win makes up for the loss against the Phils in the first week of the season.

Excellent game by our bench guys. For sure Prado will get some more starts. I would still love to see him spell Chipper once in a while, and let KJ get an AB or two.
Our season would be a lot more promising if some of our struggling hitters got with the program. Frenchy is looking better, GA is not “loafing” as much, and Prado has been money.
We need Chipper and Mac to get back to normal, as well as KJ picking it up a notch or two.
Let’s not get too crazy about this win tonight. Unless we show we can do this on a regular basis, we are still only an average/.500 type team otherwise.
But hope reigns supreme tonight in Bravesland!

Its a shame they didnt trade KJ for an outfielder in the spring. Now KJ is a bench player and the player Chipper called the best hitter on the team before Opening Day is our new 2B. Way to go Martin!

This game saved our season. If we lost this game, I think that the Phillies sweep us. However, hopefully the Bravos can come out tomorrow and light up Hamels. We need these next 2 games.
If we can get McLouth and Escobar back healthy soon, then after the All-Star Break, Infante can replace Francoeur in right. How does this line-up sound?

5. Yunel Escobar…………..SS

While this line-up doesnt have a lot of pop, I do feel that this line-up would give us the best chance to score runs. This line-up makes contact and has hitters who have a history of delivering in the clutch
This is with the assumption that a trade isnt made to add some pop to the offense. Having Francoeur, Kelly, and Blanco on the bench a lot better than seeing them start.
