I will be nice to Schafer. I just want him to be the type of player you and I want him to become.

this could give you something intelligent to talk about on here besides trading Javier Vazquez for Mike Cameron.

When have I suggested this? Was I drunk? Is Prado proving valuable to the team right now? Are you completely obsessed with OBP at the expense of better metrics?

Answers are no, no, yes, yes.

“our bench players are better than our starters”

They do represent all our offense tonight, but i’d still rather see this lineup with Yunel and Nate. I think we only got to see that lineup with Prado 2nd and Yunel 5th once before he got hurt. It was productive.

Typical scoring inning for the Braves….8 batters to the plate, score twice.

Rob from SC

Jared

I lead the parade for Bobby Cox to be fired as well as for Terry Pendleton. I also understand that John Schuerholz left us in a tough spot, and Liberty Media could care less if we win. We lack Major League talent in many area’s. I would fire Bobby Cox, but also build for the future.

Jake W.

Not to seem funny here but maybe KJ needs to go see a psychologist or something. He obviously has the tools to succeed at this level, so I have to think its more mental than physical. I don’t know, but didn’t John Smoltz do that? Regardless I hope they continue to play Prado. We can’t afford to keep waiting to see if and when he’ll break out.

Let ‘em off the hook.

Unbelievable. I didn’t believe DL was going to get a hit but I’m still in disbelief.

Jeff fails yet again. He can’t play this game. We’ve seen enough to know that it doesn’t get any better than that.

A double then a single and then he swings at the first pitch.

Why why why?

Salamander

June 30th, 2009
8:45 pm

You saw who was batting right? (sarcasm)

Bases loaded? Jeff went up there determined to swing at the first thing within a foot of the plate.

9 LOB through 5 inninings.

Rob from SC

The problem with playing Prado everyday, is that once Bobby Cox decides somebody is a role player he doesn’t change his mind.
